This actually works.
We have mahogany Stag wardrobes and dressers and with the passage of time they inevitably get scratched. You buy scratch cover but it really doesn’t. You buy blocks of this and liquids of that but again they never seem to work as you want.We bought this because we hadn’t tried it before. Unbelievable. Amazing. Something in this day and age that actually works. Perfect. We ended up hunting out other bits of mahogany and dark wood in the house.Highly recommended.

Fantastic product for antiques
This product has transformed an antique coat stand I renovated. This product was absorbed into the wood where it was needed most.

Good for wood
Have used this product before and it really improves the look of tired and dull brown wood furniture. Smells good too.

Great stuff
This balm is terrific for all my wood that seems tired or thirsty. Really soaks in and gives it a boost. I also like the smell which is kind of soapy or lightly perfumed and not at all solventy.

Very good and gives a lovely finish to wood
I recently purchased a rosewood table at auction which was quite neglected with scratches and watermarks. I decided to purchase the balm after reading the good reviews. After trying to get rid of as much of the grime from the elaborate carvings I used the balm and it gave it the most amazing sheen, like adding a clean vanish to it. The sheen is less noticeable after using another cloth to buff it but it has transformed the table. The scratch marks, which exposed some of the lighter wood, have been covered somewhat and the shine has somewhat made the watermarks less noticeable. The balm won’t remove watermarks on wood which already has a lacquer or polish finishing but on wood like mahogany it will do an even better job. Another reviewer said it looks like soy sauce, which is true With similar consistency. The only gripe I have is I wish there was something like a plastic stopper inside the glass bottle as the mouth is quite wide and you can easily pour out too much balm if you are not careful. That’s why I always screw the top back on after tipping out a little balm, in case I knock it over. I also bought the version for lighter wood which I haven’t really tried.

A very useful product but needs patience to give best results
A very useful product but needs patience to give best results.Use as if it were French Polish and give as many coats as necessary. It does have the ability to disguise marks.

It works
Have used this previously in restoring some old brown furniture, so gave it a try on my boat that had lots of sun bleaching and some water staining. Pleased to say it worked really well. Fair to say though it would work better on waxed surfaces rather than varnish, but all I did was gently rub down my wood then applied the fluid
