What quality, what value!
I was drawn to the fact that the ad said 'real pine'. It seemed a great price compared to cheap MDF and other 'self assemble' tables. The only metal parts are the screws. Although assembly is fairly easy, I do recommend taking your time and checking each move a few times before glueing and screwing. In my opinion, the trickiest bit is fixing the table top to the frame as there is NO pre drilling holes or locating lugs - no real guide as to where it should go apart from approx centimetres overlap. The method is to put the table top on the floor and put the frame on top. Then spend twenty minutes trying to get it as square as possible (good luck if you're an anal Virgo like me!) Ideally, this bit would benefit from an extra pair of hands to hold the frame steady whilst the screws are driven in. I digress. The finished result is a beautiful table and chairs. It's strong and sturdy and looks lovely. Throw a nice tablecloth over the top (maybe a waterproof one?) and it'll be a pleasant sight in any room.A happy customer.

Great Solid Table
This is a great Solid Table for the price, I bought as a Games Table for us but it is actually a really nice Dining Table, a bit tricky to Build but once I had one Chair done and got the hang of it, it took no time at all, I built on my own but would recommend Two people even if it's just someone looking at the instructions 😀

Great little set, but a nightmare to assemble the chairs.
Both table and chairs came on time and together in 2 separate boxes (1x box with table and 1x box with chairs).Very sturdy wood and when I have finished getting round to all the chairs, it will look lovely in my lounge once decorated. So I gave the product 4 stars in total and 2 stars for assembling. This is because you only get picture diagrams to help show you how to fix the product together. There are no written explanations and there are no numbers noted on the separate wood and screws in the box, so you have to figure it out for yourself. I did this right at the beginning to make sure I had everything. All contents were in the boxes.Table was easy to assemble, but for the chairs, when you get to the part that needs Screws A32, it is totally ridiculous. Everything else is fine with fixing the chairs together, but with the A32 part (pics with red square and circle), there are no holes made for you in the wood that the screw needs to fit into, so you have to do that yourself and when you do, the screw is so hard to screw in, that it stops halfway like in the first photo I have posted. I even tried with an electric screwdriver, but failed. All holes should really have been drilled into the wood ready for us to put together like they did with the other holes they made.Apart from that, it is very good value for money, but just be warned you need to be prepared before assembling that A32 part. I'm not a DIY person, so I don't have experience with things like this.**Update** Finally built all the remaining chairs. Still hard to screw the ones that didn’t have holes in them. Looks great in my redecorated lounge.

Very sturdy
Can’t say it was easy to put together as I needed help from a neighbour, but once up looks neat and clean lines , not too heavy and chairs comfortable, but I did order cushion seats for comfort. Table top wipes down well and easy to clean, nice fresh colour, very sturdy as my husband has balance issues so when he falls against it they don’t tip up

Not made well
The product arrived on time, when building the chairs on of the sides for the screws are nout lined up, meaning the top of the chair can't not be attached securely. It's really annoying because the whole thing is built. Returning it would mean taking it all apart which took 2 hours to build. Some of the pieces of wood has not been sanded down well so alot of splinters while building

No problems with this item from delivery to build.
The table and chairs was delivered without damage. Well packaged. Instruction sheets for build okay with everything labeled. Took me 3 hours to build everything and most importantly there was nothing missing from the fixings. Worth the money in my view.

Rough finish but ok for the price
The finish is rough and dirty; and the chamfered edges are rough in places. I sanded the table down until smooth and applied a wax finish because if you spill anything on this as it's supplied it then whatever you spill will just sink in and stain, whereas it will wipe clean if smooth and waxed. After lightly sanding through the dirty 'finish' I noticed few slight cracks in the table but that doesn't bother me too much, although they seem to have become more pronounced in the 6 weeks or so that I've owned it, probably because I should have applied 6 or 7 coats of wax rather than just two. It really is bone dry and as anyone who knows anything about wood will attest, this is a disaster waiting to happen. If you're fussy and can afford something better I'd look elsewhere; if you're hard up like me then go for it but bear in mind you absolutely must smooth it down and apply a better finish and keep maintaining it otherwise it will get ruined fairly quickly and the dryness of the wood will result in it cracking here and there with temperature and humidity changes. I'd also add that the straight backs of the chairs make them uncomfortable to sit on, but again for the price you can't be too fussy. You get what you pay for, which in this case is a robust table and chairs which is easy to put together but not the greatest quality, uncomfortable and very poorly finished. Overall I'm satisfied with it for the price but I am a single man living alone and not too fussy - it's better than nowt which is what I had before, and it's way, way more robust than the IKEA table myself and the ex-missus had. Given the choice between the IKEA one and this, I'd have this in spite of the poor finish and the cracks. Get yourself some 400 grit sandpaper and some beeswax and don't be lazy with the number of coats you apply. Run your fingers along the chamfers of the table and chair legs and make sure to smooth the rough areas down or you'll ladder your tights on them.
