I may update later on effectiveness, but I tied it on some Camilia cuttings, we shall see if they take. UPDATE: Camilia cuttings rooted and so did roses. I think it is better value for money than rooting gels and should last a reasonable time. Tip is to soak the cutting first in water and then dip the end in the rooting powder. I accidentally snapped the stem of my beautiful purple Orchid which is in bloom. I dipped the stem in the root powder, and put the Orchid stem in a pot of top soil. Then gave it a small amount of water. When the soil drys out, I’ve been applying more water, but not overdoing the water. After about a week, I gave a gentle tug on the plant, and it seems like it’s re rooted. It certainly does not look as though it is dying off.
