OK, I WAITED A FEW DAYS TO GIVE A THOUROUGH REVIEW, FIRST, TOOK A DAY TO BUY THE CHARGING CABLE, FIRST DAY, IT PLAYED FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES, THEN STOPPED, SO I CHARGED IT FOR 12 HOURS, TOOK IT OUT THE NEXT DAY, ONLY PLAYED FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE IT STOPPED. NOW, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT WAS AN UNWISE PURCHASE, IT JUST MEANS THAT YOU NEED TO EVALUATE WHY TO PURCHASE SOME THINGS. I PURCHASED THIS FOR HOME USE, AND FOR THAT PURPOSE IT WORKS GREAT, NOT GOOD FOR TRAVELING, BUT, IF YOU GET A BATTERY PACK, LIKE AT 5 AND BELOW, SHOULD WORK FINE, THAT SAID, A GOOD PURCHASE FOR THE PRICE, BUT KNOW THAT IT WILL NEED A 5 BUCK USB BATTERY, AND A CORD, AND A MICRO USB, OR BETTER STILL, JUST GET A CHEAP CELL PHONE. HOW TO USE
I found this a bit hard to figure out. Here is what I have figured out at this point:Cable and micro SD card are not includedUpload the mp3 files to the SD card directly (don't try to put them in a music folder)If the red light is blinking when the unit is on, then it is playing. (it will automatically start like this)The middle button pauses the music, this will cause the light to hold on.When you plug it into the computer, you will need to have the SD card in. If the light is on, it is charging. If it is blinking, then files are being transferred. Finally, if the light is off, it is charged.When the music plays, it plays alphabetically. It does not seem to shuffle songs.Overall, it's not bad. The sound quality is fine (I'm no audiophile, but if you are, you should try harder than $3). I have not tested it with any format other than mp3. It's a very basic unit, with all the super basic functions you would need. It is tiny and easy to disassemble (only two screws hold it together) but is sturdy enough for everyday use.I would recommend getting this for a kid, or for use in a project that requires a small-form mp3 player.

I loved it in the beginning
I loved it in the beginning, I used it for a week, and out of the blue, it stopped working. Not sure why, but I really liked it. The price was amazing. I couldn't pass it up. When it was working, it was without issues or skips, just not sure why it stopped. Maybe I just got a bad one? A lemon?

it works well if you have cables and a blank micro sd card on hand . the device itself does not come with cables,clip, or a micro sd card .and it needs a micro sd card

I love this it's better than IPod
I love this it's better than IPod!!!So easy to load great sound .and it stays on the last song you played instead of starting over when you turn it on.
