Thanks for your interest. Regards **Q: How environmentally friendly is it?** A: According to the SDS sheet for the product, there is no sulphuric acid in Oven Pride. The product contains sodium hydroxide, so a high pH alkali, quite the opposite to an acid! It is not environmentally friendly. **Q: will this remove burnt on grease from hard anodised frying pans** A: I wasn't really sure what anodised means. Having checked, anodising is the process to promote the formation of an aluminium oxide layer on a base material. The instructions clearly state that this IS NOT to be used on aluminium. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ amazing product *by J***6 on 8 December 2025* Love cleaning my oven and this is the best thing ever for that. The strength is brilliant and it removes all grime and burnt on stains. It does smell so I keep my children and pets out the kitchen when I’m using it. Never had any leaking either the bottle or bag. Amazing product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by E***A on 25 March 2026* Always buy this when cleaning the oven. It does a great job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good - you may have to repeat treat for really bad staining. *by E***E on 25 April 2018* Not quite as 'gutsy' as I'd like, but I guess safety regulations get in the way of that. Nice to use something that didn't smell so strong though - I'm accustomed to having to open every window and door in the place till the smell goes! If you have really tough stains and goo, you will probably have to use repeat applications. I inherited an absolutely filthy oven and hob. I hate throwing things away if they still work - we have enough landfill already - so I was determined to get these things clean. This did a great job. One or two stubborn bits it just loosened a bit, so had to resort to a spot of white spirit (obviously after the Oven Pride had been thoroughly removed!!) to get the last of it off. Oven and hob now pristine! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/49001511-oven-pride-complete-oven-cleaning-kit-500ml-includes-bag-cleaning](https://www.desertcart.be/products/49001511-oven-pride-complete-oven-cleaning-kit-500ml-includes-bag-cleaning) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
