**Q: Hi, is the base solid?**
A: It's particle board with a melamine finish. Not as strong as solid wood but fairly robust.

**Q: is this made of oak or is it a manufactured wood with plastic veneer?**
A: I think it's plastic. Doesn't look like plastic though. Great size

**Q: Is it big enough to store 5 or 6 bed sets including sheets please**
A: I would say yes, I have a ski jacket in, 6 thick sweaters and 4 pairs of joggers in.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Attractive table and storage solution for the cost

Bought this to replace my £35 metal frame B&M coffee table as I was in desperate need of blanket storage. Was a bit anxious about the condition as many reviews show significant damage. Mine only had a few little nicks that were barely noticeable so was content to put it together. The assembly is fairly straight forward and secure, though a word of advice: if assembling alone, attach the lid with the chest lying on its back, it will make it significantly easier! I was definitely thrown by the concept of drilling my own holes into a pre-fab piece of furniture; while the legs are optional, the lid hinge already has one set of holes pre-drilled. In the video you can see one of the holes in the lid from my incorrect first attempt. I opted to install wheels rather than the plastic box legs provided. The lid also catches a little when being opened which is that noise in the video, but not sure how to fix that yet. Over all, I think it's a very pretty and sturdy bit of furniture and significant cheaper than similar tables. HOWEVER. I'm definitely going to put a couple layers of varnish on the table top as saying the wood veneer is wafer thin is being generous. I accidently peeled a little bit off with MASKING TAPE when putting on the wheels, so a steady coffee cup on the surface may do significant damage! Price was £37.99 at time of purchase.
