Well after a few weeks I finally can leave a review! & can use my shelves!I had ordered two and they came on different days I had one put together, easy assemble process if you follow directions. We bought them to place our plates and cups to have more cupboard space in the kitchen.The second shelf came a few days later, with NO hardware. We called and we're sent the hardware right way, sadly I had to wait another week to set up the second shelf.I got the hardware and was excited to finally put it together only to find out two pieces of wood were missing half way through. We called customer service again and were sent the pieces right away. Even though I had to leave the half assembled shelf in the middle of my floor for over a week I'm still giving five stars because customer service was on top of everything and the shelfs are steardy and beautiful looking. Perfect for what I intended them for!

Purchased three of these. Assembly was a bit tricky...but be sure to look at each picture carefully to ensure that every step was completed before moving to the next. I organized all the pieces and performed the each step on each of the same units ... then moved to the next step. Very heavy when assembled, so I recommend assembling them near the place they will be used. The only thing I do not like are the cheap circular white stickers that are supposed to "hide" the screws. Other than that, I am quite happy with my purchase of the three bookcases.

These units assemble quite quickly however quality is lacking. Typical Chinese hardware is disappointing but is to be expected at this price point. Countersink screws do not come with caps or even enough white stickers to hide the screws. Minor flaws such as dried glue on the surface, and chips on finished edges are easy to find on many pieces. Predrilled holes are oversized for the dowels but all holes were accurately drilled.The units are functional and look pretty nice.I hung them on the wall using a ledger board underneath.Would buy these again but fussy people should stay clear.

I'm really happy with this bookshelf. I'm using it as a standing desk as well as for storage and display. I have it turned on its side to use it as as standing desk. I had to add a small stand for my computer to get it at the proper height.I like the asymmetrical shelves and that it's not a standard design. It was a very reasonable price for the size and design and it goes well with the modern look I'm going for in my office. I've only had it up for a few days but I expect it will last awhile as long as I don't move it around much.

I bought 2 of these bookcases. I love the design. Turned out they are super hard to assemble and the material is flimsy. I asked for return the company accepted it but I had to pay over $60 for shipping for both and one costs $75: it was not worth it so I gave them away to Goodwill. Here is a picture after I removed everything- judge for yourself- there is not a single straight shelf. They all bended under not even heavy items.

I love this bookcase! As you can see I turned it into a tv stand! It’s the perfect size! And it’s tall even laying on its side, so you can image how big it is when standing straight up. Only issue I had was my bookcase came without any of the strews or pieces to assemble the bookcase. They literally just sent me wood that I could do absolutely nothing with. Also, one wood slack was missing, but I didn’t notice it was missing until I started to build the bookshelf. FYI- I did reach out to the seller and stated my problem. I have not heard from the seller but it’s no big deal because they sent me a whole new bookcase and this one had all the parts. However, because I had the wood pieces from my previous order I just use that and took all the screws, etc from the new bookcase and used it to build the one I already had if that makes sense! I also had to replace a wood shelf that was missing from the first bookcase I received. Like I stated before I didn’t notice it was missing until I stated to put it together. Thank god they sent a whole new bookcase and not just the missing pieces because I would have been screwed! Besides that assembly was straight forward and easy to build, only took me about 30 to 45 mins to build. Hope this helps!!

The bookcase is neat looking -- I like the uniqueness of the shelving arrangement and the lines that creates -- but the shelves themselves can hold very little (weight-wise). All of the shelves (even the ones that are listed as able to hold a least a little bit of weight) are sagging noticeably at this point (I've had them about 6 months). The neat clean lines now look quite messy, and what was once a unique modern feature in a room now looks... well... old and shabby. I definitely wouldn't call it a bookcase -- it cannot hold a couple books per shelf without sagging, so it certainly could not actually be used as a real bookshelf without being reinforced. If you want a neat feature and plan to only put a few lightweight knick-knacks on it, I think it would be fine. If you want a bookcase or actually have some things that weigh more than a feather to put on this, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

It was a little confusing to put together but we got it together with my husbands help. It says not to use a power tool on it bc it could split the wood, but if you know what your doing you can use it and be fine. You just can’t push past the first torque. It’s also a little flimsy bc there isn’t a back to it, but it comes with bolts to bolt it to the wall which I highly recommend!!
