An engaging way to teach manners
This is an excellent book explaining the basics of playground etiquette to a young child (perhaps age 2/3/4 even 5). I read it in the library with my daughter at age two and she was so interested that she asked to borrow it. Afterwards we read it many times together. Now I'm now going to buy a copy so that my younger child can learn from it.Tilly comes across a number of simple scenarios that a young child might encounter. The book gives the young reader a multiple choice for what Tilly should do and then explains the right way. E.g. (paraphrasing) "should Tilly push the other children out of the way, so that she can get a party bag?"There are other titles in this series, however this one, perhaps, has the most universal appeal.I review very few products, however I feel this book deserves recommendation.
