An excellent material for costume making/'cosplay.
I have no idea what this stuff is supposed to be used for - creating a cushioned, non slip surface I expect - but thats not what I use it for. No, I cut this stuff into pieces and make costume props out of it - and in this role it excells!Cosplay (or 'costume play') is a quickly growing hobby/culture that involves its participants dressing up as their favourite characters from fiction, books, comics, movies, TV etc. Like any growing market people have been quick to capitalise on the demand for high quality replica props, with such things often costing hundreds or even thousands of piounds depending what youre looking for.Me? I'm too tight fisted to pay out that kind of money, so I use this brilliant stuff to make my own at a mere fraction of the cost. Take a look at the attached pictures to see examples of just a couple of the things from my current project that you can accomplish with just a little EVA foam and a few other crafting materials. I'm not even an especially talented craftsman - get yourself on the Googles and type in 'EVA foam cosplay' to see examples of truely fantastic creations.You get about 3.' x 6.5' of matting here, its about 7mm thick. It cuts with ease, is tough and flexible. Sections can be easily glued together with hot glue, and it takes paint well - although as the mat is a porous material, my recommendation is to coat it with watered down pva glue before painting. The matting becomes pliant when exposed to heat from a gas hob, heat gun or even hair dryer, that allows it to be moulded and shaped further with ease.So yeah - truely excellent and versitile stuff. I hear it even makes excellent safety matting!

Not bad for skipping. A bit difficult to straighten but it does the job. It would have been great if it was a bit longer.
