Our Ironcore primer is not designed for that application. Additionally, I would recommend you look into a white primer specifically designed for cabinetry. I say that as it would be easier to cover up a white than a black primer. If you are interested in our Nuvo cabinet paints, you would not have to prime as the paint has primer in it. **Q: I need the prime for countertops but I have an existing black countertop on the kitchen bar.
