Great flour. Almost perfect.
I am still finding out more about this flour. As much as I have used this, it seems alright. Reasonable gluten for egg pasta and egg noodles. As far as the rise for loaves is concerned I am yet to make a conclusion. So far I would say that it is alright. It is not the finest flour from Bacheldre. It feels fine and talc-like in texture. No obviously discernable graininess. Therefore it is also not their highest yielding flour for fluffy bread, but still very good. Good flavours even though there are flours from Bacheldre which taste even more divine... I RECOMMEND it highly because, it is fantastic for sourdough and general old ferment based breads. It is unbleached and that may have something to with its fantastic performance with sourdough leavens.

A good strong flour for baking
This is good strong flour purchased for baking sourdough. This was only my first order and while the quality of the flour is high, it would be good if the sack it came in was of higher quality with perhaps a zipped opening rather like some 20kg basmati rice sacks.

I do not know exactly what happened to my last batch but it was not good at all
This flour used to be my staple flour in the house. I have stopped my subscription since they changed the quality. It used to be a bit yellowish but that didn't bother me as I wanted a bleach free flour. I do not know exactly what happened to my last batch but it was not good at all. Shame since I really need a replacement and haven't found one yet

Good all around flour :)
I bought this flour back in December, I have used regularly on is own or mixed with brown bread flour, rye flour or mix grain flour to make our bread. The bread turns out perfect I use a bread maker, but other flours that I have tried to have to test and tweek the amount of water and yeast, this one just follow instructions in the book and that;s it. have done cakes too, and again is a good flour, will buy more when this bag is nearly finished.

Fantastic product
My flatmate and I are avid cooks and were getting through bags of flour on a regular basis. Product quality and ethics are important to me, and with our low income we're always looking for value for money. This product has it all- local, organic, unbleached, great value for money and great quality. We kept it stored in a cool, dry cupboard and it lasted for nearly a year before we finished it. Many successful cakes and pastries were created with this flour and I'll definitely be buying it again.

I used this product in my bread maker and baked many breads without noticing that it is not strong type of flour. It did not raise perfectly like other bread flour however each bread tested amazing and now I am buying this flour to bake my favourite breads. Great quality flour for everything from bread to cakes etc.
I've been using this for a while not. It more than justifies the space it takes up in our small kitchen. Used for everything form refined birthday cakes, biscuits, pizza and flat breads to everyday bread in the bread maker. Good flavour and good results every time. An absolute bargain!
