I was excited about this as a gift for my three year old son's christmas present. It has seriously disappointed us both!The magnetic pieces seem well made and sturdy but you do not get much for your money so I would safely say that it is overpriced. The wheels can only be used if you employ two of the main larger pieces, therefore limiting the build of any vehicle. When using the wheels the strength is not sufficient to make it sturdy and so it falls apart.The set comes with a booklet containing designs that you can make with the magnetic blocks, BUT about 60% of the designs require further pieces such as large triangles that are not included in this set. This lead to frustration all round.When I read some reviews upon buying about a greedy manufacturer I thought that the people were being cheap-skates and I am all for buying quality. I have to agree, this is overpriced and although the quality is fair, the manufacturer gives you as little as possible and leaves you wanting more!

This has been bought as a Christmas present for our grandson, so can't say as yet how it will be received. What I can say however is that a more basic set (which he already plays with) has been a great success and I'm hoping this will give him a greater opportunity for letting his imagination run wild! The set is not cheap, but the magnets are well made and appear very strong, which I'm hoping will mean he gets lots of use out of them.

Our nearly 3 year old grandson had a small magmagic set and we decided to buy him the set with wheels as he is mad about cars and trucks. He loved this set, and played for hours with it. We found this good value, the attractive pieces fit together easily, now he has enough pieces to build his own creations

I've bought this product for my grandson for Christmas so I carnt rate personally but I know my grandson enjoys playing with in school 😊

The idea behind these is good and they work well, but you can't make any of the pictures on the front of the box with the contents of this set. This set doesn't contain the rhomboid shapes, elongated triangles, or enough of the 2 joined squares to make any of the models on the front.

Got these on a special offer so excellent value. Played with by both my 2 and 5 year old. Really good, tactile toy, versile and easy to get the hang of. Would recommend.

My nearly four year old son absolutely loves these magnets. He gets loads of play from them and is always creating something new. His 6 year old brother loves them too but probably best from pre school age. Great quality and easy for them to handle. Lovely bright colours. Seems expensive but worth it.

This looks like an excellent educational building set. My grandson will enjoy using this. It has all magnetic parts with square shapes, triangles and hexagons, plus items with wheels for building vehicles. He loves magnets as well. It will make a nice Christmas present for him. Would recommend the set, and the maker, Magmatic.
