After reading my previous review, the seller offered to replace the chair mat with the one they typically recommend for thicker carpets, as it is thicker and more rigid. Do yourself a favor and pick that version regardless of your carpet thickness. While my carpets are pretty short, this mat works perfectly and my chair rolls like it would on a hardwood floor. This mat (labeled Made in Germany) is rigid enough that I was pretty surprised they were able to keep it "folded" in the shipping box. It was a pretty big box as this isn't something that'll roll up. This actually made it really easy to get under the desk as it was supporting its own weight. All in all, super impressed with this version and very happy that the seller offered to switch it for me. So when in doubt, just order the heavy duty one. :-)

Needed a new mat for my desk as I could hardly move my desk chair on it. My old mat was of softer material and deformed into the carpet but at least the I could move the chair on it. Eventually the old mat broke down and started breaking apart. The new mat (36”x48” for medium pile) came in a big box so it could be shipped flat and arrived in perfect condition. Surprisingly it is thinner than the old mat but it lays flat and works beautifully. The desk chair does not make ruts in the mat and rolls easily. Very happy with it and would highly recommend it.

I received an inferior carpet mat. Iconik sent a replacement carpet mat which was identical to the original inferior one. My review was made after numerous attempts to resolve the problem. Recently I received an email apology which was reasonable and accepted. The resolution was more than fair and equitable.

I have a short pile carpet, but I ordered the one for medium to accommodate padding. The material is way too soft and even with just the chair sitting on it for 5 minutes the wheels leave deep depressions in the pad. Then when you sit in it the depressions get deeper and you have to jerk the chair to get the wheels to roll out of the holes. I have tried these out for a couple of months (bought two for 2 office chairs) and I absolutely hate them. They were way over priced for what you get which is worthless. I will be shopping for thicker, stiffer pads, like hard plastic instead of vinyl. Unfortunately I am past my return date so the money is wasted.

Item arrived quickly and packaged well. I purchased the medium pile expecting the cleats on the back to be a little longer to accommodate our medium pile carpet. I was a little disappointed with that. I will definitely purchase the high pile for the next one.Update after having for a while. It is not the quality you need for anything other than paper thin carpet. We have a medium pile plush carpet and this mat moves all the time and I get stuck in the indents that my chair creates immediately. I am constantly trying to move it back to where it should be.

I work an IT job from home, I game 4-6 hours a day, and I used to weigh over 320lbs (I now weigh only 203lbs). So with 12-14 hours of DAILY use, and a year being over 320lbs, there isn't a single crack, dent, or blemish on this mat. There are some scratches from normal wear and tear, of course, but they're only visible when lifting it up to vacuum under it. I will definitely purchase again if needed for another chair in the house.

I had purchased this once before and it arrived flat in a box so when I placed it on the floor, it laid flat. When I purchased this a second time, it arrived rolled up (even though the instructions say not to roll or bend). Now it won't lay flat and I have had it on the floor under my office chair since Aug 2, 2019. I constantly trip on it because the edges do not lie flat. Both times it came from the same company so unsure why they started rolling them for shipping. They do wear out after a few years and I will not be ordering this again and I would not recommend it unless they change their shipping process.

Ordered the 36"x48", the sticker also claims to be that size. I knew immediately after unboxing that it was too small. Measures at 29.5"x47".
