I think for me it does slightly annoy me that it covers the violin but I didn't want to spend loads more and buy the step up from this as the bridge pick up and this is really good. It's only a thin band and doesn't look bad at all but I'm just picky I think, if you are too it might bug you a little but the quality of the sound will stop you caring. I have been using this for more than 10 years now ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by R***L on 15 September 2019* Every time I play a gig with this, the sound tech smiles with relief. :) The violin model will also fit a small viola. My one gripe is that the Velcro became dislodged after comparatively little use.
