Bought to hold my Zoom H1 to use as an external mic for my camera. Very tight fit, but very secure and perfect for the job. Side cutaways are great for retaining access to the Zoom's controls while connected. Have to be a bit careful with the rubber bands, but they are easily replaced - and the unit arrives with spares.

For the price I should give it 4 or 5 stars really... but as a product in the whole, it's just ok and dies the job.It's not made especially well and will likely break in a fairly short space of time and it sits too high up on my rig and gets in the way of other accessories like handles and monitors but ultimately it does what it is supposed to do, it holds the microphone.

Arrived on time, fits onto my Canon camcorder with a small shoe adaptor ok, rubber bands are a bit thin to one I had before, but there are spares with the shock mount.My Rode NTG2 fits it fine and is well supported.

Nicely priced however, great mounted on a stationary stand but ineffective on the end of a boom pole even with a light cardioid mic like the Sennheiser ME64. glad to have it in the bag and very cheap

Just got this a few days ago. Item is as described. Very happy with my purchase. Extra set of small rubber bands to hold mic's in place.

This is very cheap, and nothing about it feels like it isn't very cheap, but it does in fact work fine and hasn't fallen apart so far.

It works well for the purpose I needed it for. A top mic holder for the top of an FS700. It holds a Beyer Dynamic shotgun mic well and it light and easy to use.
