Effective solar charger
This has worked really well to keep our outdoor camera with spotlight charged. It keeps two batteries charged 24/7 even though the security light is recording often. Good value for the performance. Was easy to mount to wall

Great addition to the stick up camera
Brilliant solar panel for the the ring stick up cam, connected very easy with the supplied barrel connecter, been up for 4 months so far and camera continues to charge to 100%, great addition.

Works well even in area without direct sunlight.
Absolutely love this solar panel. It works great even in an area where there is not direct sunlight. Both my batteries are showing 100%. One was at 81% at time of installation but now 100%.I definitely recommend this Ring Solar Panel. It’s just literally install and plug in the provided usb cable into the rear of the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery Pro.

Works well.
I have mounted my new Ring cam high up in a place hard to get at by intruders. Problem with this approach is if you have to get up there (twice) to recharge the battery. The solar panel saves all that. The cam is quickly fully charged in the morning. This is in the summer, so I am not aware of how effective it will be in dark winter days. I doubt if it will be a problem. I have dropped a star as I consider it a touch expensive.

Well worth it, works perfectly all year round!
Amazing how well this works! It’s not even in the most optimal place due to our front porch and only gets sun part of the day yet we’ve had our security camera a year now and the single battery (has space for two) pretty much stays at 100% even through a grey British winter. I would recommend this to save the inconvenience of keep changing the battery to charge it manually, especially on the cameras.

AVOID Drained my battery in 1 day from 100% to 0%
Pointless item, I had a new camera sent from Ring thinking the camera was faulty because the Solar panel was not charging the battery with 5 hours winter Sun worked for a small period then the battery kept draining super fast and over night when there was no motion detection, all minimum setting. Changed to different battery and still the same issue, with constant notifications asking if i want to connect the camera to Wired 20 times a day. The firmware was updated and all checks done still not fixed.Guess what disconnected the Solar Panel and put one fully charged battery in and the camera is working fine and installed at 4pm checked battery next morning 8.30am only 99% from 100%.This tells me 100% the solar panel is rubbish not fit for purpose. will be returning this and getting a 2nd battery and deal with climbing the ladder till the fix this issue.
