Works great
I bought it to tear up grout from concrete. Ate it (and my hand when I accidentally hit it) quite fast and effortlessly. Performs great.

Wheel in combo with dust cap used with a shop vac worked great.

Very aggressive grinding wheel
I used this wheel on filled cracks in a garage floor and a concrete patio, it produced desirable results on the concrete patio but not so much on the garage floor (see before and after photos) as it really roughs up the smooth surface. I would not recommend it for a smooth concrete surface.

It ground down my concrete...like it was supposed to!
Just had a small patch to do, but it handled it fine and I was almost hoping there was something else to grind! Definitely need a dust shield and shop vac!

This thing doubles as a grinding wheel and a dust screen to hide from the neighbors, significant others, children or any other undesirables. If you fire this up and let it eat, nobody will come near you, I promise.

Works with a DeWalt DCG415 Grinder using the Collar Provided
My husband bought his grinder for a work project but hasn’t had a chance to use it. His wifey had her own project and got to be the first to use it! French drains were installed in our house from the previous owner and the contractors did a beautiful job of slinging concrete everywhere and overfilling the trench thus leaving our basement a mess for installing any type of flooring. I bought this grinding wheel to grind off the overflow and level out the floor to lay LVP. It made quick work of the job. Very happy. 1st picture is the grinding wheel on our DeWalt, 2nd is after we tested the grinding wheel and 3rd is a sample of the awesome trench work before using it. While it doesn’t seem like much, some places had an overflow/overlap of up to an inch thick. Great value for the price.

Good wheel, fitment issue.
The wheel is unthreaded so you use the backer and nut that come with the angle grinder. I was using a Porter Cable 7-1/2 amp, 4-1/2" angle grinder. The wheel opening fit the boss on the backer plate perfectly without the included adapter ring. The cup of the wheel, however, has a flat that is smaller than the standard nut diameter so the edge of the nut contacts the taper of the wheel cup and does not tighten against the flat. I consider that a design flaw but since the wheel is made of aluminum there was little risk of failure. I added a dust shroud to the grinder and the wheel offset was a good match to allow me to grind the floor while containing the dust. I ground about 10 feet of a crack where the slab had settled enough that the edges stuck up to create a trip hazard. I grouted the crack with mortar and it turned out nice. The wheel left a smooth finish grinding down the concrete and aggregate and there was very little wear on the diamond pads after I finished.
