Trinity College London Rock & Pop 2018 Drums Grade 1 (Trinity Rock & Pop)

My son just passed his Grade 1 exam, and this book was a key part of his success! It was recommended by his school drum teacher, who also used it during lessons. The tracks and clear layout helped him build confidence and improve his timing. Highly recommended for any young drummer preparing for the Grade 1 exam!

A great book to start with.The Trinity Syllabus is very well known and popular. Full of songs you know.Don’t forget to order the cd as well - separately!

Learning to play the drums at 73 and finding very helpful!

This book is ideal to give you the drum charts for the songs required for the Grade 1 exams.The charts are clear to read and the downloadable tracks are great to play along with.This also gives some brief info on the exam format and what is expected.There is also a separate book for the session skills parts of the exam, but this is better value as it has Initial-Grade 2 covered. If you are going to submit for the exam digitally then the session skills book isn't necessary as you are marked off of the three songs you select from this book.This book is pretty slim and over priced for what it is, but if you are looking to do the Trinity grading then it is invaluable.
