I am about to own an African Pygmy hedgehog and therefore I needed to read up about them before I received it. I decided to get this book and wow was it a good read. It has told me everything I need to know about African Pygmy hedgehogs and now I feel knowledgeable enough to own one thanks to this book.

very imformative book

A lot of information and an interesting read but not the best structured reference book if you quickly want to look up something. Style is a bit rambling and more like an essay on "Everything I know about hedgehogs"

It’s so easy to understand with some humor added in that will keep you giggling throughout the book.Anyone who has opened their life and heart to a hedgehog will appreciate this book, even if you are someone who’s thinking about getting a hedgie this will help you to better understand these wonderful animals and the care that they require. Get this book! You will love it as much as I do.

Has a lot of good info for a first time hedgehog owner

My granddaughter got a hedgehog for her birthday. We bought this book to help her learn how to care for her new little family member. She learned a lot from the book and references it often.
