Simple and easy to use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Works well as expected, it comes with a power and a data cable. Just connect both to your computer and you are ready to go.I've added some photos of the product and a video to explain how to use it.

Amazing value for money
Great piece of equipment! I bought this to use with my MackBook Air and it's perfect. Just plug in the usb connector and away you go. No extra software needed. The blue light is also the eject button. Very fast, no noise once the disc is loaded. Haven't tried burning anything to it yet but did export some music to my iTunes and again...perfect. Slim and very portable. If you're looking for ease of use, this is for you.Highly recommend this external drive.....great value for the price

not compatible with Mac OSX el capitan...?
Unfortunately this drive is not fully compatible with Mac OSX el capitan or later and it will not burn double layer disks - I tried three brands and all failed. Drive error message suggested to try slower speeds and that didn't work either; and says it's not compatible with the disks.Finding a reliable Mac OSX compatible usb 3.0 burner is not easy...Prior to returning the drive I did test the same brand disks on two other different brands of dvd burner. The worked perfectly; I could burn to the double layer disks with no problems.

Great buy
Bought as a Christmas present for my grandson. He hasn't got it yet but I did try it out to make sure it worked and it performed well. For the price you can't really go wrong so, highly recommended.

Lovely bit of kit, bit hard to set up
I am using mine with a Lenovo Ideapad Miix 310. It needed an external power source - I used my Amazon Fire Kindle charger. Once it was plugged into the mains on the power cord and USB to the PC it was recognised and started to connect. Could really do with proper instructions! One set up it works a treat, managed to burn a CD and install Microsoft Office through it.

Pretty well built. Fast and easy to use.
Easy to use with plug and play with no extra software needed. Has an issue of not being able to eject the disk draw if it's not attached to a computer (unlike other drives where attached to just a power source, the eject feature on this drive doesn't work unless connected to a computer). Not a killer but can be a hassle if you wanted to watch that film on a different media device like a tablet.

Bought this as the laptop I bought didn't have internal disc drive. It's lightweight and feels a little flimsy but does the job required. Cheaper than paying a couple hundred more for a laptop with built-in drive.
