The product saturates the stain and effectively dissolves it from the fabric, while still being kind to colours and fibres! Moisten stain well with Stain Devils liquid.2. Leave to work for 10–15 mins. For stubborn stains allow the product to work for longer. I’ve used it on my son’s school uniform and it has removed pen marks from jumpers and T-shirts that I thought would never come out. It’s so easy to use and has saved so many clothes from being ruined. Definitely a must-have product for every family home!
Review: Always read the label - Used on old cooking oil stains on a dark coloured cotton top. Used as directed on label and the oil came off in first wash. I also used on an oily sauce stain. Same great result. The bottle is small, the amount of product is a small amount but you do not need alot of the product if used correctly depending on size of your stain. Clearly stated on label what types of fabrics you must not use it on. I have used other Dr Beckhams products and always found them to be reliable and doing what they say they are supposed to do. Would purchase again.

**Q: Spilled cooking oil on mattress. Will this stain removal remove them?**
A: I think it's worth trying, sponging with the liquid then blotting off with warm water and a towel (or similar) 
I spilled cooking oil on my clothing. Followed instructions (very, very simple) then washed clothing in washing machine and the oil mark disappeared. I thought it may not work as I had to wait a day or two for it to be delivered. So impressed I purchased another bottle for emergencies.

**Q: Can this be used on suede**
A: Not sure. Has not left any residue or evidence of use on cotton item. I'd go for it - it's the only thing I have used that works and would have thrown the shirt out otherwise.

**Q: is this product vegan and cruelty free ?**
A: The product does not contain any animal ingredients nor is it tested on animals.

**Q: Would it work on a fabric seat? I’ve got buttery hand prints on a new bench**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You may need a second treatment

Having spilt cooking oil on a pair of decent trousers and a soft shell gilet I was keen to find a product that would remove the stains. Dr Beckmann worked a treat on the gilet, but I had to re treat the cotton trousers a second time to get the oil stains out completely. Fortunately the little bottle had just enough to achieve that. I’d use this product again, but be aware you might need to do a couple of treatments to clean up heavy staining.
