The brush does great for cut-in painting. Would give 5 stars but you do lose some bristles so you have to keep watching out for that.

As a painter this her brush is by far my favorite trim brush. Soon will be adding a few more to my colection

My new favorite cut in brush. The tapered edge has great control. I think the 2" is a better all around option than the larger 2-1/2", which has less control, or the 1-1/2", which carries less paint.I've tried a lot of other brushes from Purdy and Wooster. Whizz is still my fav.

I rarely use these brushes for woodwork. They are phenomenal for cutting in walls. Crisp lines, hold paint well a and discharge it evenly. A little too stiff for woodwork. I go for something a little softer.

This special brush really helped me learn how to cut-in when painting at the ceiling and around trim, which I had never attempted before. Watch a few videos and you’ll figure it out too.
