it filled the space which was empty for a long time
but i expect there was more specific information (like propeller aircraft teams etc) anyway it's a good source for acrobatic teams...thank you gerard baloque...

Good, but needs a more precise title
This is a nice book that gives a brief history of most of the worlds post World War 2 military jet display teams. Pre war teams, civilian teams, and helicopter teams are excluded. Each team has a history and fairly extensive collection of colour profiles of the jets used. There is a good collection of different schemes used in the team's history. My main criticism is that the focus is on jets, so teams that switch from jets to turboprops, there are no profiles of the prop aircraft. For example, there are profiles of the MB-326s used by the Australian RAAF Roulettes team, but not of the PC-9 turboprops. Many teams that existed for a short time, in particular in the 1960s are included, but there are also omissions. Historic RAF teams are included, but RN teams excluded. Not every team has photos in the book, but there is a nice collection of the major teams. Despite these faults, this, imo, is a good one volume account of post-war military jet teams. If you are a helicopter fan, you will be disappointed by their exclusion. 3.5 stars
