Now I have to confess, I came across (and bought) this book by chance. I had the misfortune of having an accident on my motorcycle, but the very good fortune of my collision being with the author of this book, Trevor Montague! Without disclosing the details of a gentleman's agreement between Trevor and me, I gladly bought this book. It is truly incredible; as one other reviewer puts it, like having the whole of Google at your fingertips, in a book.The sheer variety of subjects is breathtaking, a quiz /game show lover's reference book bar none. I've had a good look at it and will find it invaluable for college work. My parents have also been very keen to get their hands on it, being avid watchers of general knowledge quiz shows such as 'The Chase'. It seems like an odd gift for a Christmas present to my mind but my husband has had earlier editions of this book and said that he would like a newer edition. It is £40 everywhere else so this price is incredible. I know he will like it.

What an amazing book, the index reference is brilliant, Trevor has thought of Everything . Bought this book for my dad for Christmas,as he had a much earlier addition, he was thrilled with it . Would recommend this book to anyone interested in reference books .

This book is a quizzer's tool - although we live in information time and much of it is available online, it is still essential to have books and sources like this one. Variety of themes covered here is something which can't be thought of easily.

We bought this because to update our much older copy. It's just as good as its predecessor and we are delighted with it. Packaging and delivery excellent as usual.

Purchased asapresent for a quiz buff. She loved it.

I'm not one to write reviews put i got this book cause I was fed with Christmas quiz games questions I didn't know. I thought at first this was a lot of money put there's so much information and it's a big book that's why I gave it 5 stars
