great device for gaming, Internet browsing and watching movies
Very good control unit with similar feel like a Xbox 360 controller. Overall performance like a Galaxy S3 Smartphone thanks to Tegra 3. I use it mainly for emulating consoles and home computers. Everything runs smoothly. New Android games like Dead Trigger 2 run nicely and the Mini HDMI output works linke a charm. I brought a 5m cable which allows me to use the wikipad like a classic console. I upgraded the wikipad with 32 GB of storage via micro SD. One thing I like is they installed cyanogenmod which feels quite like vanilla Android. I can recommend the Wikipad to all fans of emulation. If you prefer the latest Android games then the NVIDIA shield would be probably better. The Wikipad can play Hearthstone though...

Two Stars
Micro USB charging port very quickly became useless and it's now terribly outdated.

A lot of software problems
CONS:SIZE!!!Controller large takes a while to get used to and comfortable.Tablet slow and frustrating sometimes when used as a normal android tablet.Lots of the best games compatible with a controller are not compatible (GTA SAN ANDREAS, Carmageddon). The built in games markets (Playstation Mobile) are either not working or useless.Struggles to run many games without turning a lot of graphic settings down.PROS:Cheap.Controller and tablet have a nice feel. Well built.Maybe if you have giant hands this will be perfect.I have had my eye on the Wikipad for a long time and finally the price came right down to a ridiculous £60. This is even cheaper than a tablet alone and as this is built for gaming I thought it would be a steal. I still think it is decent but has a lot of problems and is quite a strange looking device mostly due to its size.A lot of things do not work on here. Many of the Nvidia games are not compatible and random games on google play. I get the feeling the graphics and cpu are not very powerful so do not expect to play the most fancy games on the store. Even some with simple graphics do not work.I think it dropped in price because of this.Controls are very large and spread out so its quite strange to play on. Not very ergonomic. I do have small hands for a man but still think its a bit over the top. Not very portable. After a while I am kind of getting used to the controls but its not ideal that they are so strange, not instinctual.I love Strangers Wrath: Odd World. You have to turn the graphics down a bit but it runs ok. Enjoying that. The tablet is not very nippy and prone to slow downs. Still useful and worth the money. I am trying out the Archos Gamepad 2 and will compare. That was £60 as well. So between them I will probably have the compatibility I need to play all my favourite games on the Store.

Argos are selling This Wikipad for £249.99 you'd be mad to NOT buy it for £74.99
Absolute bargain of the Century!Argos are currently selling the Wikipad for £249.99 with a sale price of £169.99 (at time of writing)What can I say about the Wikipad except WOW!!Its a fully functioning 7' pad well made, well packaged, full of features, plus it comes with a game pad which you slot the Wikipad into when playing games from google or nvidea it breaks the mould and blows the competition open, its honestly like playing a giant Nintendo 3ds and whilst the gamepads attached you actually forget its a fully functioning Tablet, and vice versa when your just using the Tablet...it really is an amazing product. There are obviously a couple of downsides, but it depends on if you think they're actually downsides at allComing from a Nexus 7 the screens no where near as bright, but it makes up for it by running and playing games much more smoothly really breaking the competition wide open.2 it doesn't have a rear camera, which I'm used to. (I personally miss one but others probably won't)3 its running a slightly older android than the nexus 7 I was using (but will no doubt update soon)Honestly you can't go wrong with this product, and the seller for much less than Argos are selling the Wikipad for

Such a shame it dosen't have any screen mirroring/miracast option
Doesn't feel cheap as some people have stated.Very nice tablet and well worth the price.Controller is very easy to setup for games which are not already supported by the Wikipad.Would have given 5 stars, but I can't find any screen mirroring/miracast option which is supported by Android 4.2 over WiFi. Would be great if the option was available on the Wikipad.I contacted Wikipad support but I'm still waiting for a response.

Fantastic machine, for this price you can't go wrong!!!
At the price the Wikipad is now you just can't go wrong, with the added feature of the game pad it makes this 7 inch tablet the best buy on the market place. No it isn't the fastest, no it hasn't got the best graphics, but at this price it's worth every penny with so many free apps and games out there it will keep anybody amused and busy for hours days and weeks!!!!!!!
