Well priced good quality decaffeinated beans with great taste
Am currently loving this coffee. I grind some every morning for my stovetop pot. It smelled great the moment I opened the packet. The taste is lovely and complex with a fresh nuttiness in the aftertaste. Mild with no bitterness when using a pot half packed but strong enough for an espresso type strength if I pack an espresso pot full to bursting.Couldn't tell if I was drinking caf- or decaf- unless I checked the label! Great way to start the day if you're off caffeine but looking for a bit of a placebo effect; or just like good tasting coffee! Decently priced too.

Absolutely not worth the money.
A James Hoffman video lead me to try this decaffeinated coffee bean. Pleasant enough for £12-15, but nearly £30 is ridiculous( in my opinion ,) a light flavour but nothing special.I am returning to my lavazza decaffeinated coffee beans. No regrets .

Nice tasting but quite mild.
Not the strongest decaf. It's quite mild and in my Melitta Barista bean to cup I need two espresso shots for a good Latte. Still tastes nice!

Decaf doesn't get much better than this.
We've tried various decaf coffees, mostly from online sources as the supermarkets generally don't stock the decaf beans. This is by far the cheapest way of buying and we come back time and time again as the quality is on par or better than more expensive alternatives. The coffee is always very fresh and still produces great coffee when we get to the bottom of the bag after about a month. Perfect extraction and crema every time. Obviously a difference in taste against the non-decaf stuff, but this is perfect for us evening sofa drinkers who want to enjoy the taste without the subsequent insomnia.

OK coffee
This is a relatively inexpensive decaff bean, but seems to lack the bite and flavour of others I have had in the past. Not entirely sure that it is better than the slightly more expensive ones.

if you like a mild cup of coffee, perhaps these are for you. Otherwise avoid!
I ordered these beans for use with my De'Longhi Magnifica ESAM4200 Bean to Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Coffee Machine to stop me from being kept up at night due to excessive caffeine consumption. The beans arrived promptly in robust packaging, which was sealed to keep the freshness of the beans. My limited understanding of the Swiss water method of decaffeination is that it avoids the traditional chemicals used which may impact on the taste of the coffee. When I first opened the bag, I was struck by the deep aroma which led me to think that the taste would be superb, without the disadvantages of being kept awake.I've used these beans with my bean to cup machine, a stove top espresso maker and also a Cafetiere. I use a lot of beans when making coffee to ensure a strong cup and bold taste. However, I can say that these beans were disappointing; they lack the taste and flavour hit of caffeinated coffee. The result is a cup of coffee with no real personality and you are constantly reminded of what you are missing. If you drink whole bean caffeinated coffee as well as this, depending on the time of day, you will find the decaffeinated beans stuffed into the cupboard only to be used on rare occasions. The potential for a good cup of coffee is there; the beans generate a good crema layer when used with a bean to cup machine but the taste just doesn't deliver for me. I've said before that this is all open to interpretation; coffee shops serve strong coffee and perhaps I've gotten used to this. All I know is that after trying this, I'm left with a lingering sense of disappointment. This is a shame, because the 'Rave' brand has produced some superb coffees over the years.

Best decaf beans I can find
I use these with a Delonghi bean to cup machine I have to say these are the best decaf beans I can find. We tried quite a lot of different brands before these but I'm glad we did and the fact they are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water method is a real plus. In my opinion it is impossible to tell that these are decaf beans as the coffee is rich and very full flavoured. You do need to play around with the grind settings on your machine to get it just right but that's true for any beans you use. Now on our third bag and have no intention of swapping. They also arrive very quickly via Amazon and for what they are represent good value for money, again in my opinion ;)

Great coffee, amazing price.
Rave coffee is always excellent, although I prefer to order from them direct as the roasting date is usually a couple of days previous rather than up to a couple of weeks with the Amazon stock (a product of the logistics I imagine). That said, their beans have a shelf life of three months so it's a very minor thing. This decaf blend is bold and tasty and pretty much everyone I've made it for can't believe they're getting such a great cup of coffee without the caffeine. I have to alternate between this and other Rave blends, because they're all so good I get worried about my caffeine intake! I'd also highly recommend their other darker roasts such as the Signature Blend and Mocha Java.
