## Description

Queen Latifah stars in this warmly funny remake of the 1950 Alec Guinness film, playing store clerk Georgia Byrd, who, faced with the news that she will soon pass away from an incurable illness, embraces life to the fullest. Traveling to a swanky Czech resort, Georgia meets a legendary chef (Gérard Depardieu) she has always admired. In short order, everyone at the resort soon comes to regard Georgia's life-loving attitude as a true inspiration. LL Cool J, Timothy Hutton, Alicia Witt also star.

Last Holiday is such a feel-good movie that’s perfect when you want something uplifting and comforting. This is one of my favorite movies! Queen Latifa is amazing in this role. The heartwarming movie is funny and poignant, and has a marvelous ending. Love all the characters, locations, and the story line. I ordered this because I definitely want to have a copy on hand that I can pop in the DVD player when internet connectivity is iffy. Movie line is suitable for all ages.
