I saw earrings very similar to these in a local jewelry shop for slightly more (approximately $5-$8) the day after receiving them and can say I am glad I got these. I know how to make them and still chose to buy them, and save myself the trouble while supporting a private seller. If you're into the leather feather look, you can wear them as is, or roll the feathered parts between your fingers a bit once you get them to create a less "newly cut" look.Also--if you're like me, and have allergies to just about everything, you will have to change the posts out on these (which I did immediately from a stash of sterling silver posts I order and keep in my vanity specifically to make earrings a possibility for me). I have to say, I really like them and have worn them at least every other day since receipt. Thank you, creator.

Very light and softThese earrings are very light and soft! I don't agree with the previous another reviewer!!!! Incredibly gentle, playful, they spin on a chain and I like it !!! This is real leather earrings. I can make any shape anytime (flat or fluffy). To be fluffy, I twirled them a bit, and they looked like the photos. Is it really hard to do? Ear wire in good quality earrings and come with rubber backings. See photo. I know that I will not lose them, the seller took care of this. Very fast shipping!!! I ordered on April, 23, and got on April, 24. I bought brown and grey earrings and I am absolutely happy! I will be buying again for a gift.

I agree completely with another reviewer who mentioned how the chains show more prominently than the leather feathers. They look tacky rather than exotic and expensive as pictured. The earrings came packaged in an ugly, gold cellophane envelope like cheap jewelry from China. The earrings didn't come with rubber backings. I happened to find these on sale. But it's appalling that they are normally being sold for $18. They're not even worth the $12 I paid. I'm returning them.
