The Butterfly Effect Trilogy [Blu-ray]

Loving the trilogy, I immediately bought this trilogy set because...why not?! My only warning is to beware of what device you try to play the discs on. I watch all of my blu-rays on my PS 3 but the first disc that contains movies 1 & 2 will not get to the title screen. But on a regular Blu Ray player it does, and for that reason I am happy that I made this purchase.

I'm very disappointed that Amazon allow me from the United States to buy a DVD from North America that will not play on my devices. Going back in to look and see if it's sold in a different region form, now there's a stop to what type of DVD that will play in the US. but not when I purchased which should have been caught.

I am not convinced that this is region free. The description states that it is actually region B for Great Britain, the USA is region A.I was able to play Movie 3, which is on a separate disk, no problem. Movies 1 and 2, were more difficult. The menu will not load each time. If I reload it enough times, or hit stop and play for roughly a half hour while I do other things, it will start.You can then play Movie 1. Movie 2 will not play for me. You can hear the sound, but it is blank. Since I bought this, in particular, to try to get Movie 2 on Blu-ray, this is a little disturbing. Off I go to buy Movie 1 and 2 for region A.

I could't be happier with these discs they work great for me. Maybe I have one of the special blu ray players that play PAL discs. BTW the first movie is incredibly awesome! The other 2 are ok.

I bought the trilogy and the first disc was unreadable and had scratches on the edges but the disc that had the 3rd movie on it worked fine...going to try refurbishing the 1st disc but not happy it wasn't working when I got it

This group of movies are great, makes you think.

I Just love it when you can own an entire movie collection without having to search for each indivual movie...

Make sure you read the reviews before buying and it's not about the region the first disc does not show the main menu which contains the first two movies the second disc works perfect.This ai'nt no trilogy to me lol

The ending on 1st disc the #original movie# is nothing like the theatrical version "WARNING SPOILER" in this endingTo fix things at the end he goes back in to his mother's tummy prior to birth where it appears he's still born.The other two movies were okay but it was the first one that I was interested in.They say it's the director cut and other movies watched saying Director cut that is normally the same movie but with nothing cut out? This should say alternative ending. The original ending don't even exist in the bonus section/ deleted scenes!

The first and 3rd movie are the best, not sure about the 2nd movie but at this low price it's a good addition to anyones collection.

The case for the blu rays arrived a little broken.. but in working order.

very good twisted film box set dose jump from one to the other keeps u glued to the setif you enjoy a box set that is set above the rest then sit back and enjoy
