Well worth the money, in fact thought it extremely reasonable for this box set. If you watched Dallas and enjoyed that then you will certainly enjoy this. Took me many weeks of evenings to get through and had withdrawal feelings when it ended. So I am recommending it onwards. Review: Still great viewing - I bought this for my wife for Christmas thinking it would be nostalgic for her childhood, but wasn't totally sure she would watch it all. After first putting it on, my whole family is hooked! It is extremely easy and fun to watch with simple plots, luxury and fashions that may have seemed naff a few years after it came out nearly 40 years on, look great. I love the fact that they are ALWAYS drinking and the women were strong without the modern day rubbish of ramming it down your throat. Men were men and the women were glad of it. Knocked Dallas out of the ring, however I loved both shows and the Colbys. Would recommend this to all lovers of 1980,s drama, shoulder pads, cat fights etc. Joan Collins ruled this show, without her it would have been bland and boring. A female JR Ewing, but this series showed how the rich live. Unlike Dallas which was weird with billionaires living in one small Texas ranch. Dynasty was the epitome of wealth, wigs, and male actors that look like Barbies Ken.
