This product's automatic voltage regulation (AVR) feature is an important reason for our choice of this model. We bought it for use with a new gas stove to protect the electronic controls from voltage fluctuations that occur when our power goes out and we switch to our standby generator. Those fluctuations caused us to lose two electronic control panel modules on a relatively new gas stove. We replaced the stove because we were faced with having to replace the electronics a second time at a cost close to the price of the new stove. We've placed this unit in the bottom drawer of the stove, plugged it in to the wall behind the stove, and plugged the stove's AC into this device. So far, we have had about a dozen power failures that resulted in a switch to generator, and the electronics don't even blink. Purchase and delivery experience was top-notch.

This is well worth the money if you have any equipment you want to save. I purchased this because I had a flat screen TV that was 2 years old, perfectly fine and then we had an outage and the TV went kaput. I was told the electric company would help if I called. At first they sounded positive and then I got a call back to say not covered because a squirrel got fried on the wire...like how did they know it was a squirrel if it got fried...so now all my equipment that I value is plugged in and so far so good!

Electricity goes out, my satellite holds until generator kicks in. Is exactly what I needed. We have a lot of outages. Directv is great, still takes 15 minutes or more to restart. This has helped,no lag time.

This unit has been working fine, and I like the self-test feature. The one significant drawback -- based on my reading of other reviews, this unit is not alone in having this issue -- is that the damn thing smells quite strongly, something like the smell of new plastic. At first I thought the plastic case was just made out of particularly smelly plastic, but in reading around, and now through personal experience, it seems to be related to the charging process. The battery must be releasing something, or the heat of charging is making the case or other parts smell. Someone else reported their Belkin unit stopped smelling after about a week, mine is now a week old and smells less but definitely still smells. An unexpected bummer. I was getting tired with APC units failing, so I tried this unit for a change. I hope it lasts a long time, but only if it stops smelling! Update: It stopped smelling after about a month.

First, for reference I am an electrical engineer so take that into account. We live in a very rural location with relatively frequent power disruptions, most of subsecond duration. We had multiple instances where the UPS did not activate but the TV powered itself off from the power glitch. More recently, we would have very short duration glitches that caused the UPS to completely power down, requiring us to manually restart it - and of course all the attached equipment. In short the UPS not only did not protect us from power events it made them worse since the satellite box & Starlink router took a significant time to restart after we turned the UPS back on. Consigned the UPS to the trash heap after only about 2 years. Tripp Lite tech support was less than useless, not listening to my problem description and going to a "have you checked this" script. I should note that previous experience with Tripp Lite products while in the computer maintenance business was not good, reviews led me to believe they had improved. My experience suggests this is not the case.

I have bought a few of these: - One as backup for 5 Raspberry Pi 4 units - One as a backup for my home internet - One as a backup for my home office The Raspberry Pi units are in an area with infrequent power outages, but with voltage fluctuation. This has helped steady the instability, there are fewer power problems than before. The other uses have worked in an area that gets about 3 show power outages (<1 minute) per month. Since starting to use these, I have had no issues with devices shutting off during power incidents.

I have seen some bad reviews on here and all I can tell you is I have been running two computers off this one unit for over 1 year and no problems. It was running one computer for a few years before that and I have only had to replace the battery once.

So far this has worked great - we plugged our power strip into it (for the computer and all the accessories, including modem and router) since there weren't quite enough battery outlets (only 3). We bought this as part of our "power outage plan" so we could get a less expensive generator (non-inverter duty). We ran a power outage "drill" and my son didn't even know the power went off (as he was playing his game on the PBSKids website). It kept the computer running for about 10 mins without the generator running....

Es bueno el producto, sin embargo aun no entiendo porque a veces que la luz se va no vuelve a encenderse solo

Las instruccionesno son muy exactas en el manual. El botón de encendido/apagado se debe mantener presionado más tiempo del que dice el manual. Eso me quito varios minutos al inicio hasta que descubrí cómo se prendía. Me queda la duda de si es normal que al conectar los aparatos a la sección donde se supone que no tiene la batería conectada, éstos sigan funcionando aunque el No break esté apagado (pero conectado). No dice nada al respecto en el manual. Por lo demás, me ha funcionado bien.
