Harris Classic 3 Brush Set

On the Harris Brushes website it clearly states Harris Classic Brushes are made in UK. They have a distinctive red and white Diagonal paint pattern on the handle. These brushes are marked "Harris" with a UNION FLAG but the paint stripes are not at an angle, the package says ORIGIN CHINA. The are NOT of the quality of Harris Classic brushes, so something is not right! UPDATE: Just had a message from Harris, No Longer made in UK, now made in China hence major drop in quality, but website has not been updated!!

so so glad I found these brushes I love the old bristle brushes the finish they leave is wonderful you do loose some of the bristles but it wont put me off I love them they come well packed but not over packed and arrive in just a few days will not hesitate to buy these again

The bristles did not keep their original shape after cleaning, they are sticking out in every direction, kind of frizzy. I have put an elastic band around the bristles to see if that will help them to reform back to the way they were when I purchased them, smooth and straight.

Used these brushes to do a bedroom you can't beat quality brushes and these really are quality please remember always give new brushes a good wash with washing up liquid as it helps to get rid of any loose bristles quicker you will get some bristle loss but when they bed in you will appreciate the finish you will get

Ordered Harris Classic as per the image - got sent Harris Expert which are absolutely no comparison .... in fact they're useless apart from creasoting fences!!!Harris Classic are the best brushed I've used whilst Expert are the complete opposite of their name .... wasn't asked if I would accept this substitution and am very annoyed (unfortunately I have opened the packed and tried them otherwise I'd have sent them back!)Not happy with the product and not happy with the seller!

these were used to paint old furniture ,good value for money ,excellent quality far better than brushes you would buy in a DIY store

Good product and buy in the fact that the brushes are lightweight, pure bristle (not the nylon that modern brushes tend to be found today in the stores), vary in sizes (so perfect for different uses/jobs) and the name Harris is well known in the trade and customer use.The only drawback I have found (hence not giving 5*) is that the brushes do drop hair when painting (though the odd few - not constant).

Good afternoon.,Just received the paint brushes at mid-day . Sorry to inform you that the quality of the brushes is appalling. They do not compare any where near as the same Harris brushes you get which are 3 in a closed pack. Hair is falling out of the brushes without even using them. Also the volume of hair is allot less than you get in the closed packets. I should know been using the same make of brushes for the last 15 years.
