Easy to use great result
I used this product to remove the pink from white clothes that became pink because the colour ran from an item in the wash. I used the soaking method, basically very hot water, dissolve granules in water, add clothes , put lid on bucket (I used a plate), leave until pink gone, then wash as normal. I have to say it worked really well. The piping on the collar of the polo shirt also changed colour from black to brown but quite frankly that didn't matter.

Use hand wash method NOT machine wash.
There are 2 methods for using. I tried the washing machine method and it had NO effect at all. As there are 3 packets, I then tried the hand wash method with the second packet. I left the clothes soaking for a full 24 hours. When I drained them, they were completely back to original. All the staining had gone. Just to make sure I put it on a spin cycle and then a full wash cycle but without detergent (as they tell you to). It was an expensive duvet cover and pillowcases that had been completely ruined as I thought after only using them once. This product is absolutely brilliant, but you have to put the effort in.

DO NOT USE ON COLOURS
I bought this for a pink top that had gone slightly grey whilst in with a dark wash. I wanted the top to be pink again. To my horror this product has completely destroyed the pink top and bleached it! It’s now completely ruined.I think this product would work well on white items, but do not use on colours!!

It works but it's not perfect
Washed a scarlet bedsheet with some other stuff and dyed everything pink. So I bought this product and followed the instructions to wash the stained items in the washing machine with one of the sachets. Easy enough... Didn't work. poured another sachet into a bucket of warm water and let the times soak for 48 hours. then machine washed the items with the 3rd sachet. The time I washed was a large beach towel iwith a Welsh flag design. The white areas of the towel which had been dyed pink were now white again but it wasn't the whitest white. The red dragon lost most of its colour and is now a faded pink dragon and the green areas are now very light green. So yes it works but perhaps a little too well so it may be that I should have soaked for less time.

Good product let down by choice of packaging
I look Dr Beckman products and it is currently beavering away hopefully removing the colour run from the wife's jumper. in my defence, no leave it.Anyway the three items arrived in a mailing bag and the boxes in which the bags of colour run recovery powder were contained were crushed beyond belief. Luckily the inner plastic bag had contained the powder so no loss of product, otherwise it would have been returned. I suggest a comment to the Royal Mail may be in order, or perhaps packaging in a box, would be preferable.BTW What the product fails to tell you is if you have washed your item and not discovered the colour run damage until after the item is dried. this product will not remove the colour run from the garment. disappointed but there it is.

It works!!
I should have taken a before and after picture but didn't realise how good this product would be. It is brilliant!!I (stupidly) washed some very white whites with a pale Green and white dress - disaster! Everything became pale green - pretty but not what I wanted to take on holiday!I left the clothing in cold water while I waited for my delivery of Dr Beckman Colour Remover to arrive. I mixed one packet as instructed with 6 litres of hot tap water - very easy. I added one pair of pale green trousers and they instantly ( I mean instantly!) reverted to white. The dye came out as I was putting them in the solution it was so fast. I added another pair of trousers and a linen shirt. The instructions say leave for four hours but it didn't need that so I then popped them in the machine on a short wash and hung them to dry - perfect! I stress that the dye run was pale, though very noticeable, stronger runs may need the longer soak. Not being one to waste the remaining solution I then added a stripy and white sweatshirt which had suffered a similar fate some time ago. It changed the colour of the coloured stripes temporarily but their colour returned as soon as I rinsed the shirt in clear water and the white part reverted to white.I'm now going through my closet to see what else I can use the small amount of solution for! Fantastic stuff

Amazing product
My daughter put a red hoodie and white t-shirt in wash together and the white t-shirt ended up pink.I used this product as described on a 60 degree wash adding in detergent tray 15mins after start of wash with a litre of water - and to my amazement the t-shirt was brilliant white again at the end of the wash . Such a great product
