The chair is hard to push with my husband in it - he is 155#. The locks are difficult. I needed narrow or I would send it back **Q: What are the seat measurements?** A: As stated in the description.. "Seat dimensions (W x L) 17.3" x 16.5" " **Q: Armrests, can I push on them to lift myself up without bending them? I'm 225lbs.** A: Probably. My husband weighs 190 & pushes up on them somewhat. **Q: Is the back removable?** A: I haven’t tried but I doubt it. This chair is not worth your money. The wheels are very hard to unlock. I have to use my shoe and basically kick it. The wheels pivot do often the lock is under the chair where it cannot be reached. The wheels turn very hard on my very old flat carpet. The bucket doesn’t slide in easily. The seat fits over our standard toilet but is above it so urine etc splashes out the open sides. The chair fits over our high Kohler toilet but still messes up the outsides. Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice lightweight shower chair *by T***J on November 9, 2024* Overall, a great shower chair, a big improvement over our previous heavy one that rusted from the inside out and had lousy brakes. The wheels and brakes on this one are excellent. There is what I consider a design flaw. If you don't want to use the foot pegs, the result is 2 open holes in the frame where water could get in. I solved that problem by putting bicycle handlebar plugs in the holes - fit perfectly. Also, a couple of plugs in the seat back were missing, so I just covered the holes with blue duct tape. So far, so good.
