KCT Enclosed Hooded Large Cat Litter Box/Pet Loo with Filter - Dark Grey

I have an older cat and a kitten so it has always been a bit hit and miss with trays. Someone said I should have a tray each and one extra, so bought 3 then another two when that didn’t work, ending up with trays all over the house !I read somewhere cats do like to use the toilet in private so started looking at hooded cat trays.Bought two of these and have one spare normal tray . Well what a transformation no accidents anywhere both cats use their own hooded tray and haven’t bothered with the spare one.They have made an enormous difference to our whole house, I can no longer smell cat trays when I walk around the house, they contain the smell really well. The locking function is really good sturdy but easy enough to open when needed to change the tray and replace the litter. The tools on the top of the lid are really handy too. The tray is a generous size and if scooped out the clumping litter every day it only needs a full change about every 5 days. One cat is fine with the cat flap but the other didn’t like it so we took it off, it still doesn’t smell and the cat is happy to use it now. Really good product at a great price. Would highly recommend

After several litter tray purchases (and returns) I think I finally found the right one! Perfect size, the plastic feels strong and durable and it didn’t cost the world. Impressed with the sturdiness of this and it’s super easy to clean. The locking mechanism was a bit stiff to begin with but has loosened up. Really pleased.

I usually travel to another house every other weekend. I take my cat and this litter tray with me along with any of the litter already in there. The lock feature is so tough it manages to hold all the litter while I carry it into my car. Chuck it in the boot or back seat and it's all ready to go for my cat to use in another household. It also prevents the smell and the mess so much. Great purchase.

Decent tray and good for the price.The tray is easy to clean and assemble.The only down side is that the gap around the door is quite big and this lets odours escape.

My two large cats fit in this easily and used it straight away

I did not dislike anything about the product. It has a nice design but be warned, the door flap does not lift upwards. To reach the inside for cleaning you will need to remove the lid. The litter box was sent to me with only one bracket lock. I informed the seller promptly and a replacement bracket was posted out to me within a few days. Excellent customer service if things go wrong. Overal I would recommend this product. Its hardwearing and strong. My kitten loves it because it's not too big and not too small. Larger cats will need a extra large one.

Is very nicely made, worked easy for my kitten after tossing him through the door a few times. Then after that he knows how it works
