I was impressed when I first opened the box. It was neatly packaged and felt strong and well made. There were all the bolts to fit different TVs and various options for fitting to the wall so I was able to avoid the electric cables in my walls.The instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow. It took a long time to fit but that was mostly 'thinking time' while I decided exactly where to drill the holes.I now want to add a bracket for the sound bar and would buy from this company but they dont seem to make one.

I bought this Perlegear TV wall bracket to wall mount a Panasonic TX-P42GT30B Plasma TV. I was very impressed by the quality of the items supplied and how well made the bracket was. There are supplied spacers to move the TV away from the bracket if there are obstructions on the back of the TV, or if the TV has a curved panel. The wall plugs and hex head bolts supplied are very good quality and require a 10mm masonry drill. There are various diameters and lengths of bolts to attach the vertical bars to the back of the TV. There are no fixings for plasterboard which is sensible given the weight of the bracket and TV, maybe the only solution in such cases would be to utilise vertical wall studs. The supplied spirit level is a nice touch, enabling the vertical and rotational adjustments to be set correctly. The ability to swing the TV away from the wall to face other chairs (or the ironing board) is most useful. The most complex part when fitting is establishing the vertical height of the wall holes from the floor. To do this I first fixed the two vertical bars to the back of the TV, then measured from the floor to the desired point on the wall, level to where the bottom of the TV will be. With the wall bracket assembled and the TV face down on the floor, or for plasma panels vertical against a sofa, offer up the wall bracket to the TV bars and establish the distance from the bracket wall holes to the bottom of the TV, add this dimension to the previously marked bottom of the TV mark on the wall. I would say that the task of safely fitting the wall bracket and TV requires two people, for example when marking wall hole postitions using the spirit level. The design allows for a wide range of, back of the TV fixing hole locations, my fixing holes were 400mm wide x 300mm high. I would definitely recommend this wall bracket.

Received this today and I'm very happy with the construction of it. It feels a lot more expensive than it is.2 things I didn't like:1 - The video on the listing shows the person using a template to mark out where to drill the holes. This was one of the main reasons I went for this product but to my disappointment, there was no template included in the box. I therefore had to make my own by laying the bracket on a piece of cardboard, cutting it to size and then marking the holes.While it's not a major issue it would still be nice to have the template included especially when it's one of the main points in the video. Having said that, use of a template is not mentioned in the instructions either.2 - Although it would make it more expensive (but not that much), it would be great if they included fixings for stud/plasterboard/drywall.Apart from the above I would highly recommend this product.

Fantastic wall bracket, was a little apprehensive putting this up as I was single handed! But got it done and was very straightforward. Everything has been thought about to make install so easy. Great product and would 100% recommend if you are looking for a robust and well made Bracket 👍

Although this is a wall bracket, I used it to attach to a Buckinham TV stand. The stand has 2 fixed uprights plus its own Vesa mounting system that is also fixed i.e. no tilt and swivel.This bracket has a wide variety of mounting holes to screw into a wall so was ideally suited for mounting on the TV stand. It would also be ideal for mounting on a wall allowing different places for screwing into the wall, unlike some which have small wall attachments. So the placing of this bracket is not critical. I used the wall mount to attach to the vertical uprights of the Buckingham, discarding the original attachments to the TV. Other than that, the tilt and swivel bracket was attached as per instructions. Quite a few parts so be prepared to take time to fit properly, particularly the screws into the back of the TV. There are plenty of washers supplied as well as a variety of bolts for the vesa sockets. Having read a number of reviews of different products I particularly wanted one that was solid and does not bend in use. Perhaps the only criticism was the limited tilt 3 degrees. The swivel is perfect though.If wall mounted up high, the 3 degree tilt may not be enough BUT using the extra thick washers and a bot of trial and error the upper (or lower) vesa holes can be set up to get the required tilt which can then be modified to the required tilt.I was impressed with the sturdiness of the bracket (40" TV - rather older style so rather heavier than modern ones) . The bracket also folds fairly flat onto the mounting plate.Delivery was quick and very pleased.I would suggest people look at the back mounting plate on the photo. I would strongly recommend this rather than others I have seen as this one has a wide way of fixing to the wall (or TV stand in my case)
