I ordered these to block sun in a large West-facing room with five big windows. They are pretty great at darkening the room, and immediately prevent sun glare on the TV. I installed them inside the window frame so they could be virtual invisible. They don't block out all of the light because of this, as light gets through around the edges. If they went over the window frame, I don't think much light would get around at all. No issues with installing the brackets, easy to unscrew the battery compartment, and easy to take down and put back on the brackets. The price was great, I may order more. I also ordered the 15-channel remote and the WiFi Bridge to work with my existing smart home app. Works perfectly!

These are amazing! They were really easy to install. They are really quiet and they have been one of the best investments so far. We just bought a new house and it faces the west so in the evening it tends to get very hot in front of these three windows. The table that sits in front of these windows is very, very heavy, so it's kind of a pain to have to walk around it every day to pull these shades up and down. We noticed an immediate drop in temperature. When these are down, they block out the sun.They're thick but not too thick and I'm considering buying more for other windows in the home. I was a little concerned about the price in the beginning, but it turned out to be well worth it!

Edit: Had to return this complete piece of garbage, really, don’t buy this - go for another brand. This is made from the cheapest materials known to mankind. Complete waste of time and money. The product works as expected, however the instructions have misleading information and are missing key points as well. For example, to take out the battery back it fails to mention that you need to take out a particular screw. Good luck finding a drill bit that fits the screws, they are cheap and break apart when too much force is applied. The battery pack is near impossible to take out by hand. The key is to use a strong thin object and a hammer to jam it into the crack. Even then it’s crazy hard to pull out. Took me 20 minutes of mangling with it. Overall the product is a curtain, it is motorized, and it functions. But I would recommend going with another brand that has a better built project with greater user friendliness.

These blinds are awesome. I have several of them. They are so easy to put up and product support was excellent. They are quiet and nice quality. The seller got right back to me when contacted with a question. We are planning on getting them through out our house.

I'm happy that I purchased these shades. I'm keeping my bedrooms cooler them and the blackout is great.

Needed a remote controlled shade for my mother, who is bed ridden. She loves it. Easy to use, was easy to install. Only thing that gave me pause; when installing didn't know if batteries were already pre-installed (they are). So had to open one end. But they said be careful when opening as connecting wires inside might separate. Of course when i opened, they separated and I couldn't figure out how to reconnect as wire inside was impossible to reach. Anyway if this happens, take off screw from other end and remove end cape. You'll find the other wire scrunched up. Simply stretch it out and put it back thru blind; will easily reach other side to reconnect the two wires.

I bought 4 of these. They work great. We have 4 large windows in our sunroom and needed something at night for privacy. I have glass balls in the windows and did not want my husband fooling with strings in blinds. These work perfect.

I wish the instructions were more clear. Also, the included screws got stripped way too easily; I ended up using my own screws. Not a bad product but would certainly benefit from more attention to detail
