Q: Will the BBE882i boost my subwoofer volume?

Yes,it will, and that's exactly why there is a switch for you to select the 240. I select 240 when I use it in the Philippines.

Q: Currently I have a DBX AFS automatic feedback suppressor sit between the power PA speakers and a mixer, Do I insert this BBE before or after the AFS ?

I would think the BBE should be last in the chain. Turn the BBE but have it in bypass mode and set up the feedback suppressor with the overall volume and whatever other effects you have in the chain. Once you've got the AFS and volume how you want it, turn on the BBE. I'd suggest starting with the dials @ the 12 o'clock position and double check your feedback control. The BBE in that position shouldn't cause any feedback. Gradually adjust (increase) the BBE's lo contour first and then the Hi Def controls until you're happy. I think the highest I've ever set the lo contour is maybe 2 o'clock and the hi def about the same. It doesn't take much. You might need to tweak the overall volume and the AFS once everything is in the ballpark. Good Luck!!
