Kel-Gar Pinwheel Fan Multi Coloured, 25514

As I am now out of time to return this item I'll leave an honest review instead.I ordered this fan to attach to my 5 month olds pushchair while on holiday to Turkey. I had looked at cheaper ones but wanted a decent one that I could rely on without spending too much.For starters you will need a screwdriver for the battery compartment, fortunately a noticed this before we travelled. On our first day and in 30 degree heat I got out my trusty screwdriver only to find the screw wouldn't come out, it must have gone in on the wrong thread. My only option was to break into it then hold it closed with a little bit of tape.This fan goes through 2 batteries in about 4 hours continuous use, that was with Duracell too so not sure how it would have fared with cheap batteries.After 3 days I noticed that it wasn't working after about 30 minutes of use (daughter was getting cranky because of the heat and no fan). Opened the battery cover to find one of the batteries had burst and the other was extremely hot! The fan was not in direct sunlight at any time. Luckily I had been using tape to keep it closed because this is what stopped the battery acid leaking out and possible onto my daughter (we had the fan positioned above her head because as a typical baby she doesn't like a draught on her face).I ended up buying a cheap water/fan combo which made do for the rest of the holiday (11 days).I have only just returned home and took this useless and dangerous fan home with me only to find that I can no longer return it.Do yourself a favour and buy 3 cheap ones, at least then you'll have a back up. Also a massive canopy with the fan positioned inside it keeps the cool air in.

I thought it was a good item used it the once now has stopped working. However when it was working it gave a nice slow breeze and my son was unable to put his fingers through the cage

Bought for holidays, fan was quite good but fixing tended to slip and not grip onto the buggy.

Absolutely love these fans, bought one for my daughter for our holiday abroad last year and it was a godsend in the heat to cool her down. I've since bought abother for my newborn. They are powerful enough to feel the breeze but they do require changes of battery if using like we did every day, wasn't a problem as this was outweighed by how good it is.

This proved invaluable whilst on holiday in Greece with our 6 month old son - clips onto the buggy no problem and kept him under a breeze as required. The only thing I'd add is that it eats batteries so you may wish to get some rechargables to use it with!

Really good product! 100% recommend. We are going away on holiday and will be bringing this for our son to keep him cool. It's not very powerful but does the job, if you go away make sure you take batteries with you.

brilliant fan, and nice colours too

Bought this fan for our summer trip to Hong Kong. It was dire. The blades provided literally NO breeze. Nothing! Very frustrating as it was 96% humidity and my daughter was in need of this. Very disappointed.
