As a first time mum who exclusively breast feeds I wanted to have the option of expressing and saving / storing milk. I wasn't sure that I wanted to invest in an electric pump straight away and so this offered a good start. The manual pump is easy to use and can express as much milk as an electric pump easily I'm sure. I managed 120mls my first attempt at about 3 weeks post partum.I must confess I did not use the bottles at first as the Como Tomo bottles were recommended to me to reduce nipple confusion but overall I found this starter kit good value for money and easy to use especially with the self sterilising system. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by K***Z on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 December 2018* Really good starter set for anyone who wants to express. The handpump is a really good pump to start with before moving onto an electric pump, or if you just want to occasionally pump. I love the bottles and storage pots. I wouldn't use any other bottles. Baby takes them perfectly and goes between those and the breast easily. I love that the storage pots screw inside the pot and that there's a space to write the date and time expressed on the outside. Make sure you use pencil though, I accidentally used pen and even though washed them, and been through dishwasher can still faintly see it. I would prefer the measurements to be easier to see as when there's milk in them it can be quite tricky to see how much. I think this is due to measurement being etched into the pot. I have thought about using a marker pen to make it easier to see. The pots also attach onto the hand pump of use bottle neck which is really useful. Overall great set. ### ⭐⭐ Awesome bottles, rubbish pump *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2017* This is a great value set if you get a pump which works. My baby is one month old and my pump has stopped working. It has been replaced twice so I've had 3 in total in that time. I've given up on it now. The handle stops clicking in to the lid properly and no suction is created. I have only ever washed and sterilised the parts as per manufacturer instruction.When the pump was working it was slightly uncomfortable but no more than other pumps that I've used. The pump is difficult to use one handed as the bottles are quite wide. It's also quite noisy.The MAM bottles are excellent and my baby took to having expressed milk in them very easily. I love the self sterilising function of them. I cannot recommend the bottles highly enough but the pump needs some work.
