My self respect took a serious nose-dive into crapsville over the course of a 12 year relationship with someone. I knew I needed to fortify my boundaries after things culminated with 3 different people being extremely disrespectful towards me. I knew that it wasn't all them! I had been making excuses for people's bad behaviour for most of my life. Too nice, too accomodating, making excuses and letting things go, avoiding confrontations at all costs! My picker was off...Ever go out of your way to help people and it not be appreciated? Ever feel invisible or like someone has forgotten you're alive?I read this book not expecting it to be as good as it was. It is like a male version of Why Men Love Bitches and The Rules. I really got a lot out of reading this and could feel my confidence beginning to return during the process.Yesterday was Valentine's day and instead of mourning my ex I went out, stopped traffic and was driving around with a smile on my face inbetween singing along to happy songs. Not sure if I'm ready to 'date' again but I think this book should be in every girl's bookshelf. It will help you in all interactions in your life- not just with men but also friends, family, coworkers! Would recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Brian- very much appreciated!

Thank you for writing this book, Brian Nox.It has made me realise a lot of things and mistakes that I have done but it sincerely open my eyes to a larger life and I will be putting your strategies and ideas in plan and see how it works. I really recommend this book to all women because man do not have the right to have the upper hand in everything knowing that they are the ones that don’t give into the relationship as women do. I love this book and I will purchasing all his books ❣️❣️❣️

For the most part it makes sense, we are all human and have flaws and this book will teach you how to manage those when dealing with men. I have read one of his other books which I thought was great. However one of the chapters did put me off men altogether. It was basically saying that the only thing a man is interested in and the only way to get him is by stoking his ego. Not what you bring to the table, not what you have in common, not anything to do with you, but what you are going to do and/or say to him thats going to make him feel better about himself. Now I get it we all love complements but I get the impression they only care about weather or not you are going to give them an ego bust. Honestly, if all men are really that fragile and selfish, I don't want it!

Everyone assumes it's only women with lower IQs who remain with men who treat them with disrespect. I am a psychologist, so apparently I should know better (as everyone has told me, many times). But I just could not seem to disentangle myself from a very selfish and disrespectful man......until, that is, I read this book.This book is for every woman, who has been, or is in my situation. The author acts like the big brother or Dad you may never have had, cheering you on from the sidelines - encouraging you to think and be more than you have ever been before, with regard to men. It is a slow process, and not one you will achieve overnight. I have now got the confidence to ignore this man, (it wasn't an easy thing to do) as attention is what they seek, more than anything.I am practising the advice everyday, and my life has improved massively as a result. I am a Queen and any man wanting to date me from now on shall see that and respect that or I am gone.

I have read countless self help books and books on romance and I hate to admit that never fully grasped the concept. I just felt like I was caught between feeling like I needed to “play games” in order to spare my heart or that some women are simply better at demanding respect by being more assertive than I am. Nevertheless I stumbled upon this book and it could not have come at a better time in my life. Thank you! For the first time, armed with this new knowledge… I feel like it’s okay to have made mistakes, it’s okay to not be perfect, it’s okay to feel feelings but it is never okay to accept bad behavior! Now I have a better resolution when it comes to dealing with less than desirable behavior, it’s not only better for the “relationship” but it feels better overall for my own sanity. I don’t need to control everything and every situation - but I can control myself and my emotions and that is everything! So thank you so much!

These books are amazing. Got them all. Used to love his podcasts but the books are way more explanatory. Love it. A must have.

I found this book, without really knowing much about the author. But it was a great surprise to see that it's simple AMAZING! Great book!! Definitely worth reading it.
