Being an emotional creature is great, until you pick up a M. Robinson book, be prepared to be pushed to your emotional limits and back. Out of all the Second Chance series that M Robinson has written, this one is the angsty of them all and that is saying something! There may have been a time or two; I wasn't so sure. But in the end, she shined through, and I loved her.Adrian is the alpha Playboy and has always loved Paige, Except she is entirely off-limits as Paige is his brother's best friend. But that doesn't stop him from wanting her. His love for her is so adoring and swoon-worthy.The angst, heartbreak, betrayal, the twist I didn't see coming, and the head. All Epic; honestly, I didn't want the book to end.As much as the author's previous books have been high in the steam, I felt this one wasn't as steamy. On that note, the steam didn't take away from the storyline.The bottom line, want an angsty second chance. This has definitely been my favorite out of the Second Chance series.
