Cycling confidence in a bottle!
I absolutely love this sealant. After trying several tubeless options over the years, this has become my go-to. It seals quickly, holds up well over time, and gives me a lot more confidence heading out on longer rides - especially on roads where a puncture would otherwise ruin the day. What really stands out is how effectively it handles small punctures before you even realize they happened. The FiberFoam formulation seems to work exactly as advertised, and the sealant has developed a strong reputation among cyclists for sealing larger punctures than many competing products. It’s also easy to work with and has been reliable in my setup. Tubeless systems always involve a little maintenance, but this product makes the whole experience far less stressful. Not the cheapest sealant out there, but for me it’s absolutely worth it.

The Holy Grail of Tubeless Sealant — SILCA Nailed It
I’ve tried pretty much every tubeless sealant out there; Stan’s, Orange Seal, Muc-Off, you name it. But SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Sealant? This stuff is on another level. It’s basically liquid armor for your tires. I ride about 200 miles a week on my Specialized S-Works Venge, and I’ve yet to have a single ride-ending flat since switching to this. You can feel the difference in how fast it seals and how well it holds up over time. It’s thicker than most, which means it actually fills punctures instead of just spraying them all over your downtube like some caffeinated sprinkler system. Just a heads-up, it’s not the friendliest with injectors, but that’s only because it’s loaded with those little carbon fibers that actually make it work. Translation: it clogs cheap injectors because it’s doing its job too well. Do not waste your time or sealant trying to inject it through the valve stem, it just needs to be poured directly into the tire. If you’re serious about your rides and don’t want to pull over to patch flats every other weekend, stop experimenting and get SILCA. It’s slightly more expensive than its competitor brands, but so is losing watts to bad luck.

High quality
As usual, Silca has put forward a high quality product. The fibers in the sealant are very sticky (and difficult to clean up after a spill). Though I have fortunately not had a flat yet, I fully expect it to seal a puncture.

absolutely PAINLESS
made sure my rim tape was bubble free, secured my valve just finger tight, so as not to hurt my carbon rim, sealant took care of the rest! pumped up 40mm Maxxis Re-Fuse tires with a standard floor pump, no compression tools. second time I set up tubeless with Silca sealant; always works first try. Highly recommended!

Difficult to work with. But most likely Excellent at its purpose.
I got out my syringe that I've used before with Stan's tubeless latex with no trouble. I tried to suck the fluid into the syringe from the bottle, but the carbon fibers immediately clogged the hose. So I back flushed the fluid back into the bottle until the syringe was empty. Since I couldn't suck it in, I opened the syringe and poured the liquid into it. When I started pushing the liquid into the tube the fibers again quickly accumulated at the outlet of the syringe and clogged it. I found that by repeatedly pulling the plunger out to clear the clog and then beginning to push again, I was able to get the fluid in over the course of about 10 minutes. (this should have taken about. a minute) Boy is it a pain in the butt to put in. But it's difficult because it seems to be effectively sealing a hole that is probably 3 mm across. (huge). I have no doubt that those pain in the butt carbon fibers will make this stuff seal very very well.

I should have listened to the other reviews. This stuff is terrible.
At first the claims seem great. It has strips of fiber that will seal larger punctures. It pours in fine. Then your tire starts leaking air and you are wondering what is the deal. This is what happened to me. I set up DT Swiss wheels with this stuff on a factory tape job that was immaculate. About four weeks later the spokes were leaking air. At first I just thought it was the tape job. When I popped the tire off it was terrible. All the sealant was a solid mass and left behind a ton of residue that I had to use alcohol to get off the rim. It took tons of alcohol and elbow grease. The tires are trash since I cannot get the seal needed for tubeless anymore even though I cleaned them with alcohol also. I have to run tubes now. TL:DR - If you want to change the sealant after a few weeks and love to clean up hunky messes, this is the sealant for you. This stuff is the worst.

Seals Punctures, But May Damage Rims
This stuff does seal punctures, but it may come at a cost. I started using this sealant in March of 2025, after having used other sealants for four years continuously. In March of 2026, I decided that rather than just topping up the sealant, I should take off my tires, clean them out, and start fresh with new sealant. When I removed the tires, I discovered that the finish on the inside of my rims was flaking off in places all around the rims. I reached out to Silca about it, because I knew that they had had some issues with the first version of this sealant destroying rim tape. My rims (Mavic Ksyrium SL) don't require rim tape, but I thought they would like to know that their sealant might actually damage rims. They asked me all sorts of questions about my wheels, how did I inflate my tires (pump or compressor), what tire levers did I use, did I have the sealant version 1 or 2, etc. I gave them all the information and their reply was that there was nothing in the sealant that could damage the finish on the rims. I am skeptical about that claim. They said my rims are old (8 years), and that must be reason the finish is coming off. I told them that I used other sealants for four straight years without any issue, but that after one year of their sealant, the finish is coming off. I can't prove it was the sealant, but it sure seems that way. Now I have to add rim tape to rims that don't need it to help fight corrosion. Going back to Orange Seal.

product does work
This product works like a charm. I had a bike shop set my rims up for tubeless and with in a week or so I would have flats. I was going to take my bike to another bike shop and pay again to have them tape and seal my rims again till I saw this product and read on how it works. I used it and I haven't had flat tires since I used this product. Make sure to read the directions it's important that you follow them to get full effect.

Clogged and doesn't seal
Wasn't the normal silca quality Clogged in a bigger chunk in the tire Its probably old or a manufacturing defect

excellent sealant
works much better than Stan sealant. I use on Conti GP5000 STR road tires with 60 PSI. Stan wouldn't plug even tiny holes at that pressure. Sealant would splash out until the tires goes down to 30 PSI then the Sealant would stop the leak. Next inflation, hole would open again. Stan is a garbage sealant for road tires. Silca is much much better. only drawback is you cannot inject it thru valve core, you have to poor in the tire. Its actually faster, but can be messy.

Dopo poco fa grumi blu! Inutilizzabile!!!!
