Some assembly required
If you are not competent with electrical wiring do not buy this product or hire an electrician. There is some assembly required so don't expect an assembled light that just needs a couple of wires connected. As a previous reviewer states, the connectors supplied are useless and some terminal block is a far better option to wire it up. Note that the cables are 5 feet long and may not look quite right in a standard living room. To get a reasonable 'hang', I trimmed mine down to 3 feet long and it is a much better look in a room that is 4m*4m. BTW have a 13mm socket handy, it helps with getting the fittings tight easier to grip. Overall, not bad for the price although the ceiling fitting is not quite as the picture. UPDATE: Had a problem when fitting shades. Contacted seller who replaced immediately. Excellent service so have upgraded to 5 stars.

Study pictures and read review comments before you buy.
Everything okay except for the electric cable supplied which was twisted, kinked and bent and would not hang loosely once put up. It looked like a dogs dinner so I went out and bought some braided twin flex to replace said cable. A much more pleasing aesthetic look resulted. I too, as previous reviewer mentioned, didn't like the way it was to be connected to the lighting circuit wires with things that looked like screw caps. So I used some good old fashioned choc blocks.

Great item, only one little niggle- the only way ...
Great item, only one little niggle- the only way to connect the 6 wires for the bulbs is to connect them all directly to the main wire, I don't feel like this is the safest or best way to do this? Just seems like overloading it!
