The scent is quite powerful if too much is used but this is typical of any scent I guess. The smell from the undiluted oil in the bottle is super strong and is not the same as the scent coming out of diffuser. It is very cherryish , reminds me a little bit of some cherry sweets we had back in the 70s though can't remember the name. The price is super low so even if you hate it it's not the end of the world.
