John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Conditioner, Value Pack for Blonde Hair 500 ml

Smells amazing, leaves my hair soft, shiny and looking very blonde!

I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but worked really well. Stopped my hair from turning a lot darker like it usually does in the winter and instead lightened it to a sort of springtime look. I would say two shades lighter is probably about accurate. It took a couple of weeks to start looking noticeable but by the time I finished the bottle I was certain I wanted to buy again. My husband though thought it was working faster than I did. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner and was surprised it didn't trade off the general quality of shampoo/conditioner in exchange for the brightening. My hair is still as soft and clean as other products and the smell is nice too. The natural highlights of my hair are getting more extremely lighter but I think that's to be expected. I'd definitely recommend this product to a friend and will be making it my usual shampoo/conditioner. Also the yellow outside is pleasantly bright in my bathroom :)

Love this product. I have been using it since it was released and along with the shampoo and spray gives me a lovely sun-kissed blonde without the need for regular colouring.

500ml Sheer Blonde Go-Blonder Controlled Lightening Conditioner. This seems to work well with older thinning hair. No significant lightening noticed on already fair hair, more to the point, no split ends or frizz. It is also reasonably efficient as a little seems to go a long way, with just about half an inch from the pump being sufficient on a normal head of short hair in soft water. It is not as good as the similar older John Frieda conditioners without the black band which were brilliant, so loses a star. However, the big bonus is that (at the time of writing) it does not contain Methyl-Isothiazolinone (MI) a powerful preservative which is also a significantly strong irritant for people with sensitive skin. MI is also an active ingredient in the Anti-Fouling paint used to dissuade barnacles from growing on ships. Several major companies (but not enough) are now withdrawing or reformulating their products which previously contained MI and also the Benzyl- variant. Watchdog on the BBC did a major item exposing MI for all the skin damage it can cause on us. Abandoning fabric conditioners (most have MI and/or BI) in the clothes dryer, only using non-bio powders (NO liquid detergents) in the washing, and changing to very carefully selected JF shampoos and conditioners very quickly solved a lot of allergy problems for our whole family.

I have bought this in 3 years ago and it is nearly finished. What makes me amazed is that the bottle pomp is properly shut and sealed against moulds or bacteria of water in the uk . I normally use more luxurious European brand and I see issues of horrible infections around the lid . I have noticed that this product has no issues and I was not bothered by hygienic issues over such long periods. Also, this product makes my hair colour blighter and stronger yellow blond as I wish . ( well everyone has different taste - I don’t like platinum or ash blonde) . My hairs are sunny in dark uk winter and that is my only joy . The Amazon price for large bottle of 500ml is truly helpful. I saw another seller in the online grocery store puts £3 for mini travel size !! Check the size well before purchase . I feel fortunate that this is still sold with a good price!

Amazing brand makes my mums hair blonder

I used these products years ago and they worked really well, so I bought the Go Blonder bundle, quick delivery and it appears to be the real deal but I've received 2 shampoos and a lightening spray, no conditioner, and they're apparently not eligible for returns. The products themselves are great but I'm not a fan of the seller.

Purtroppo il balsamo, diversamente dallo shampoo, è arrivato con il tappo un po’ svitato e quindi è fuoriuscito un po’ di prodotto. Peccato! Per il resto Amazon sempre puntuale.

Al ser la condicionador deja el cabello muy suave y si luego lo acompañas con la mascarilla muy bien yo he comprado los tres productos bueno el cuatro productos el pre champú un botecito muy pequeño y la verdad que funcionan bastante bien no estropean el pelo todo lo contrario ayudan a que la fibra capilar sea más fuerte

shampoo is very strong smelling and not good to use if you have asthma. Clearly this is very strong on the hair also,
