I'm ashamedly guilty for not reviewing things much but this one compelled me to write a brief review.Say hello to my new best friend. These things are simply fantastic.My vehicle has a combination of 2 things that make it a nightmare in snow - it's rear wheel drive and automatic (3 series BMW). Despite taking traction control off (which is well advised in ice/snow and helps a lot), it still slips and fish tails once the snow thickens a bit. Almost predictably this occurred Friday afternoon after heavy snowfall in the West Midlands. I pulled up into my drive which is on an incline. I could not get up the driveway and pulled these babies out and . . . eureka! My car suddenly gripped these tracks and I was able to get into my garage. Brilliant!In addition to this I can say that they are very robust and fold very neatly taking up a minimal amount of space in the boot. You will not regret this purchase.

At the price I was not too hopeful but having used them over the winter in the Alps they have proved a useful boot item.Well made and robust, they won't get you out of a 6 foot snow drift but they will give you enough traction when the wheels are spinning to get going.They are not long but I have found that laying two end to end on the same side of the car can be enough to get sufficient momentum.They should work in mud but I have not tried that.As I said, a good boot item for those just in case days.

Gets you out of trouble

Well bought these when it was snowing. They arrived on time after the snow had gone.Technically since buying these I haven't got stuck again in my annoyingly rear wheel drive German made car, I haven't used them either!!!Seem pretty sturdy and am confident that they'll do the hub in snow, mud and whatever else.

they seem ok but not used as yet. my only concern is the grips have a large flat smooth area all the up the middle and im not sure if this could act a bit like a ski on snow and not grip. but as i say not been tried as yet so only time will tell. i got these for my van as they seemed to look strong and some lighter weight ones for the cars that actually look as if they would do a better job. but only my opinion.

These things work. Got stuck in the snow twice today, wheels spinning, no movement put these in front/under the tyres and slowly off I went. I have discovered my Mazda Bongo is quite useless in the snow.There are no instructions with them and I'm assuming its just common sense required. Although is does say "this side up" on one side which was helpful! I'm sure over the next few days I'll have it down to a fine art.Nice and neat, easily stored and I would think far easier to use than snow chains.

Tried using these to get my motorhome off a grass patch....they were useless....not sturdy or grippy enough

I'm still stuck in the mud! Positives are seem well made and they are compact. The joints allow to be flexible and storage sleeve. Negative, they actually haven't done the job and I'm just deeper in the mud. Therefore can't recommend and feel I've wasted my money.

Do not buy, totally unreliable.I got stuck in a foot if snow at an airport parking lot. After I shoveled my car, I used this brand new, directly from the box. After 1 spin from both front wheels, it broke into lots of chunky tiny bits and pieces. It didn’t help me get unstuck at all. I used this on a rush situation (late at work) but thank god it wasn’t an emergency.

Hola, yo tengo un SUV, no un gran todo terreno, por lo que no podía tener unas grandes planchas metálicas de una pieza. Estas pueden dar solución a un atasque. El plástico parece duro y de buen material. Plegados los metes en su caja y apenas ocupa, yo los tengo en el hueco de la rueda de repuesto.No se cual será su resistencia una vez que lo pongas bajo la rueda y esta empiece a traccionar encima de ellas, ni cuanto aguantarán los enganches metálicos que unen las partes, pero en principio tiene buena pinta.

molto economiche ed pratiche da tenere in macchina nel momento del bisogno! la plastica è molto resistente!le ho provate in mezzo al fango! molto molto soddisfatta!!se siete fanatici di piccoli ooffroad possono fare al caso vostroprovare per credere!
