Purdy Monarch Elite Paint Brush Set - 3 Brushes

These are easily the best paintbrushes I've ever used, and if anything ever happened to my set I would buy another straight away. :) I was repainting my front door (Dulux oil-based undercoat and oil-based gloss topcoat) and wanted to make it look really beautiful and mirror-smooth. After a bit of research I selected these brushes - and all I can say is that if you have never used brushes of this quality before, you are in for a big surprise! The paint goes on very easily and dries to a perfect, smooth, glassy finish. I'm only an average DIYer, but these brushes have made the door look like it was painted by a professional. They're not cheap but they will give you a lifetime's use; much cheaper than buying ordinary brushes and throwing them away at the end of the job, and the finish is spectacular!

Excellent brushes, used them for applying enamel narrowboat paint, by far the best finish I've ever had.. note to self though, make sure they are cleaned properly after use!!

I've used purdys before and there are good brush in both oil based and water based paints,good for cutting in and soft bristles,well worth the money ,if you want quality you pay for quality

Great brushes. They lose a few bristles on first use, but very precise.

These Purdy brushes are well worth the extra money if you are using water based paints. I have painted all my rooms using just one brush. They give an excellent finish. After five years I bought these so I can start all over again. If you're using oil based paint, buy cheapos and just chuck them away. Not worth the hassle of cleaning them.

These XL monarch elite brushes are amazing, they don't need breaking in, they are the perfect combination of firm and springy but they're also soft and pick up paint really well. I highly recommend these because if ya use Cheap brushes ya get a cheap finish... So buy these.
