Peers Hardy Desktop Football

Came late but good response from supplier. Was going to refund order money, but then it arrived and wasn't necessary. Put product together - easy enough to do, but robust play from tiddlers caused the play handles to come off. The fixing screws had to be replaced with something rather wider & longer - the plastic hole on the handle increased in size as it was twisted. Despite the short-comings the game gave us a lot of fun for the money.

It's fine but two flaws. The football isn't trapped by the goals so unless we improvise traps we lose the ball to the floor at each goal. Also the holes for the screws to attach the handles to the rods aren't all in line so again we've had to improvise and two of the handles are superglued on.

The item itself meets expectations. However it arrived with a piece missing. As it was a present for my nephew to use over the summer it was disappointing as it cannot be used. The missing part has been promised but it will arrive after the summer break.

Overall decent product for the price paid, though it did come with scratches and chips - as it was an Xmas present had no time to ask for replacement, would have otherwise

Very well made - the casing is M.D.F, very sturdy and brilliant to play with for kids and 'big kids'! The only thing I would take points off for is that in this case when assembling it, one of the poles had the players on the wrong way round and we had to unscrew the players and put them back on again in the right direction. Didn't think it was fair to take a star off for that tho'. Instructions weren't totally adequate - make sure you screw on the handles! Great game, very pleased with purchase.

Lovely toy, ideal for the table top encounter, arrived very well packaged and in good time, would recommend for someone looking for entertainment of the old fashioned type

unfortunately it wasn't needed so it was sold on but it looked good for the money
