AXEBLINK Kitchen Craft Size - Frying Pan Saucepan Glass Lid Cover (16cm)

My old lids having gone to "lid heaven" I decided to buy new lids to go on top of my old dilapidated saucepans. It is embarrassing to wax lyrical over saucepan lids, but gosh I have quite fallen in love with my new lids!! Unlike my old aluminium lids I find it so nice to see what's cooking, and it seems to me this glass is thick and appears to be very strong. What I most love is the hole! My old aluminium lids did not have this. The hole lets out the steam steadily and keeping at a medium temperature my water does not overflow - as a mediocre cook I have burned a few saucepans in the past and I'm now hopeful at doing better! As far as complaints about putting the parts together, come on kids, it's not rocket science, I admit I fumbled for a couple of minutes before getting the parts to go together nicely, but I'm a female non doityourselfer aged 78, so if I can do it, so should you! Bought 2 of these lids and I am very happy with these. You have to fit the plastic knob on the lid yourself which is what I did. But I found that - as mentioned in a previous review - that the knob was wobbly. I showed it to my husband who laughed, got the screw driver out again and fitted the knob correctly! Now the knob is and stays very secure (I have used the lids for a few months now). Also no leaking into the handle as reported by another reviewer. And a good fit. Happy!

after dropping my new lid (shattered) i found this web site and ordered a blank delivery swift packing great within a few seconds i fitted my old coloured handle and started cooking recommend this company great !!

A very affordable way to replace a broken lid. Much cheaper than originals and well made. Even has steam vent not fitted to original lids

I noticed that water got under the round grip when the lid was washed and had to file a notch in its underside to let it escape in future. All is well now.

The screw mechanism which is supposed to secure the black knob to the lid simply does not work. Consequently it is a loose, wobbly fit which is just about safe but very irritating and really should not happen in such a simple structure. I would not buy again.

Great replacement lid. Not quite as snug a fit as the original pot lid but still very good.Arrived promptly and well packaged.
